BOOM: Holy CTR GPWA! [Possible Google Brand Update on SERPS]

I have just noticed that it seems that Google is doing some kind of Brand update (edit: Oh yeah, please click the +1 button on the blogpost if you liked it you tight-asses )


Is anyone else seeing this? Is it only brands? is it forums? examples?

I'm hoping to see some interesting new SERP Clickthru data after some testing- but if this is the way things are going then building a brand is more important now than ever.

I saw from your article on this that you're seeing it from the UK.

I've tested from the United States (Virginia) both logged into my Google account and not logged in. I'm not yet seeing this change.

I'm not seeing that, I'm seeing GPWA with 8 blue menu links underneath its description. I agree, brands are becoming so important in all search engines. Makes complete sense too, it is very unlikely that a known brand would be a spam site lol
