A button or a text link would be more conversion generator under the reviews ?

In my opinion a very well written text is more effective than a button.

I don't think it matters too much, as long as the text or button look really professional![]()

I'm trying to think of a situation where you have to choose ... I can't think of one.
Provide both types links - use different tracking mechanisms - and within a month you should have enough data to be able to answer this questions for your readers / site pages.

What paul says above is 100% the way to go. Test. Test. Test again and uh.. Keep on testing! Remember that marketing should be 100% data driven where possible!
I use Google analytics and some Javascript on the links/images to test stuff like this.
Here's a sample implementation of some code for gathering data on clickthroughs on a button image Vs a hyperlink:
You can (after 24h) view the data in Google analytics under the "Events" Tab. Output looks something like this:Code:<a onClick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'LinkClicked', 'View', 'Text Link was Clicked']);" href="#thelinkdestination">Text Link</a> <a onClick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'LinkClicked', 'View', 'Image Link was Clicked']);" href="#thelinkdestination"><img src="/img/image.jpg" alt="the button"/></a>
this is useful for testing button colors, link locations, anchor text propensity for conversion and a whole lot more.
Information is power.
Hope this is of some use to somebody. more info on GA event tracking can be found here should you need it.
Cheers
Niall

Hi TheGooner
I agree with you also. Multiple options give the visitor multiple alternatives. Thnx
If you have too much text and no graphics then a button or banner might help.
Which page for exmaple?

Thanks . For example mansion casino review accessable via main page top 5 chart
Text and banner is ideal imo. With text I say be short about what you say. However think very hard on your use of words for your target market. Like if you were selling food you would want to use words like "zesty, tangy, Melty" lol I have just noticed words with Y seem to have something to them. I remember even someone saying words that have a baby like quality are the best to use for branding like "google".
I also just found this doing a search "advertising words for food" http://www.stanford.edu/class/lingui...t_09/words.htm
You can find anything on the net. Got to love it lol

i always mix text and banner.
I absolutely agree with the text link. I think it is more understood and more specific.
