    Lightbulb We need Your opinion

I have created topic previously and asked to rate my site (Sloto.TOP), thank you all for your feedback.
Now I would like to ask your expert opinion.

    Share your opinion:
    1. Do I need to translate the content of my website into English?
    2. Will such a site like mine compete with niche leaders - such as AskGamblers?

    Hi,

I have to tell you first and Foremost, that there are some features of your site that I really like. The design is attractive and eye catching, and the responsive nature functions well. Here are my suggestions based on having worked with AskGamblers and other sites.

Your headers are things like Casino, Bonuses, Games. While those are fine, they are also generic. Why those casinos, why those games? Instead try to spice up those headers. "The 4 best Casinos" "Top Games". That does 2 things for you. First, it lets me as a visitor know that it is not just a random collection of games, but rather these are taking valuable home page space because they are that good. It also gives you a saleable place. If a Casino has a certain rating, and they wish to further promote, you can sell those spaces for a limited time.

A newest casino section would allow you to promote newer programs without diluting your top rated casino section with programs that may or may not convert.

I was very impressed with the amount of detail that you provide for each casino, but it became a bit overwhelming. I would suggest using collapsible menus so that people can view what they are interested in and skip over what they are not.

Finally, I did not see any player feedback, or even a space to leave feedback. When I evaluate a casino, one of the first things that I do is go to AskGamblers and see, are they there and what do people have to say? I didn't see that on your site. Interaction is a powerful tool for something like that.

As for English, I haven't worked enough in the CIS market to tell you one way or another, but I can say that having it in a "universal" language couldn't hurt. even if it only brings in a small amount of visitors, better to have them than not, but that is just an opinion, not based at all in experience.

Looks like you are off to a great start. I wish you luck.

I like the design, you kept it very clear. In my opinion it would be good if you have also English option as David said above, even though if it brings a few players, always better than nothing.

    Thanks for Your opinions!

    Some reply:

    About player feedback:
Now we decide which tool use for feedbacks. There are 2 options - Disqus and Own Commenting System. And Disqus and Own Comment System have some advantages and disadvantages - but in any case we will implement the system in comments shortly.

About Collapsible menus to skip some content:
For English version we will have to change the design and layout for internal pages. I ask designers to consider your comments.

About 4 casinos, 4 games and 4 bonuses on homepage:
New fresh design of the homepage is in development. We considered it unnecessary to change the current homepage, as in a few weeks, the homepage should be fully upgraded.

    Like the design.

Regarding your question about Askgamblers in my opinion it's not relevant. Why should you care about one competitor site? Do you wish to compete with LCB and others? No. You want to make money.

But, specifically askgamblers the core of their site is players review which I don't see that you have. For me the registration button on the left is not working.

In any case, I wouldn't worry about. Seems that you are doing a great job and just need to keep it up.

Definitely looking forward to seeing the new design. Please share it when it is complete.

As MMM said, don't worry to much about the competition. If your ultimate goal is to make money, continue doing what you are doing. You are certainly on the right track.

I can't read Russian, but using automated translation into English (which of course is a long way from perfect), it looks from what you have that you know what you are doing.

If you do translate I assume you'll know that an automated translation tool won't cut it. Either use real translators, or be prepared to have someone review and edit everything that gets auto translated.

Hello, Chaumi. We write only quality content - its our base for good SEO, we think, that Good content+Good design (and usability)+Good loading speed=Excelent website

We can't use automatic translation because Russian and English languages differ from each other as an apple from the piano)))
Sorry for primitive example, just first thing that came to mind.

In addition, we analyzed the audience, and we need to change layouts of pages, their structure for English.
As David_Allegrowrite above, users outside CIS countries do not need extra information about the casino. They can purchase money on deposit without guide...

Well it depends on what markets you're trying to break into if your only concentrating on the market that your site language is in then there would be no need to translate it but as English is the most spoken language in the world and if you are wanting to try and acquire players from all over the world then yes 100% do so it would make it more accebale to a larger audience.

Its great that youve set your sites on being the best in your feild as Askgamblers are and keep that focus but for me it would be a case of take baby stepts.

Get your site the way you want it first.

Let it attract the qulaity players you want it too and start generating revenue etc from your busienss first.

Once this is happening then start exploring what else can be done . Dont fall inot the trap of too much too soon rather take the time and effort to get the product to a level where you can compete first and then worry baout what they are doing remeber they have a huge budget and can always outrun the competion is about being smarter
