SCAM ALERT: Casino Paycheck/Player Paycheck/Shark Casino
Dear fellow affiliates:
I have been an affiliate for several years and have made at least 5 different casinos over $150,000 each. As an affiliate I have seen a lot of disturbing things. I hear all of the rumors about affiliate programs shaving stats, not paying players and so on. And though, I have my own opinions, I never chosen to speak out against any of them. I did not have concrete proof of corruption. Until Now.
I feel that it is my duty to inform you of my sincere and honest belief that Casino Paycheck, Player Paycheck, Angelciti and Shark Casino are dishonest and cannot be trusted. I have documented proof of actual statements in writing made to me by both the current affiliate manager and the former affiliate manager of Casino Paycheck who admitted to me that the stats of these programs are unreliable, questionable and very well may have been manipulated.
Despite the recent efforts by this company to clean up its reputation (a reputation of unpaid players and shaved stats), I am sad to report that it is business as usual for Casino Paycheck. Despite the public statements by President George Guttierez and affiliate manager Ricardo del sol, NOTHING has changed with this corrupt organization.
I implore you, for your own interest and the interest of your players, to immediately stop promoting them and place this casino and affiliate program on your “Not Recommended” or “Scam Casino” list. Below, I will detail my evidence and experiences with Casino Paycheck over a 14-month period!
They may be able to change the name of the casino, but the same crooks with their creative accounting are still running the business. Once a cheater, always a cheater. I have no ulterior motive for this posting other than wanting the truth about them to come out. Lord knows that this business has been good to me and earned me a lot of money. We are not even talking about that much money here. I usually mind my own business, but what I have seen here in my dealings with upper management is the most egregious, company wide, form of dishonesty and deceit. The management of Shark Casino, NASA Sportsbook, and Casino Playcheck is an embarrassment and should not be trusted by any player or affiliate.
No player should EVER trust the legitimacy of their games and no affiliate should ever trust what there stats say. In fact, my stats for the last 14 months have just mysteriously been changed retroactivity (I have the screen shots to prove it).
The best part is once they got wind of that I was going to go public, the locked me out of my account. That is correct, I can no longer access my account (I am one of their original affiliates by the way). I do not expect to receive the several thousand dollars owed me. To be very honest, I would much rather my fellow affiliates know the kind of slime they are dealing with because I really do not want to see other people put through what I have been through with them for the last year.
As we know full well, the only time casinos clean up their act is when there is either enough public outcry or if it affects their bottom line. Angelciti tried to pretend that it cleaned up its act with its new casino name, new affiliate friendly affiliate manager, and new management that was going to make good on all of the broken promises and unpaid players. Unfortunately, that was another spin job. This organization is as corrupt as ever and you all need to be made aware.
To be honest, I do not want to post much more information about this casino, because I do not want them to benefit from the documents and screen shots that are in my possession. As I said, I have no motive other than for the truth to be out there. Lord knows the industry is facing enough crackdowns from credit card processors and governments around the world. If we want this industry to remain viable, we must purge ourselves of the crooks.
I stand by every statement I have made and will swear to it in court. I don’t think that I have ever felt so strongly and so convinced about the dishonesty and unreliableness of any company as I do about Angelciti and their properties (Shark Casino, NASA Sportsbook, Casino Playcheck, Casino Paycheck, etc). I speak out knowing full well that the company can not shut me up because I have the original emails from their actual employees in my possession. Emails which I have shared with top management, but who still refused to open their books or do the right thing.
A small sample of the evidence against them.
The saga begins.
Posted: Tue Mar 25, 2003 7:50 pm Post to GPWA Message Board - subject: Warning: Serious Problems with Casino Paycheck
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Guys,
Over the last few months I have been noticing some disturbing things with the Angelciti Casino Paycheck sportsbook stats. Scott has admitted to me that there are some serious problems on the sportsbook side, but I am very upset that he has only told me now after assuring me for months that my stats were correct. Personally i like him and since he was a former GPWA member I have always given him the benefit of the doubt. After debating whether to bring this up or not, I decided that it was best to present what happened and let you all make your own judgment. Here is a basic, summary:
In approximately, August 2002, Scott and I reached a deal whereby he would pay me $200 per depositor. At this time, my sportsbook portal began to really take off and very quickly became #1 in google for the term sportsbooks. So I started to promote the Casino Paycheck sportsbooks like crazy.
Here are my stats for October:
Summary for October, 2002
Visits 381
Signups 17
Depositors 6
Ratio of signups to depositors 3:1
Summary for November, 2002
Visits 1318
Signups 22
Depositors 8
Ratio of depositors still a respectable 4:1
Ok, you'll ready for this?
Combined Stats: December (middle of NFL season), Jan(College football, superbowl), Feb, and March(NCAA tournament):
Visits 3348
Signups 62
Depositors: ZERO!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went from having a 3:1 or 4:1 signup to depositor ratio to 62:0
Unfortunately it gets worse! I have not been paid for ANY OF the depositors in October 2002 or November 2002. I have sent Scott no less than 6 emails and the reason I hold him partially responsible is because he is the one that kept telling me dont worry the check is in the mail, That he personally looked into my stats and there is nothing wrong with them. What really pisses me off is that he has known there were problems with my (and yours too?)stats for atleast 3 months, he personally assured me that the money I was owed was being paid and that he was going to take care of it personally. The bottom line is like Windows, I have reason to believe (and the stats to back it up) that if you get too big at Casino Paycheck then they will either just not pay you and/or shave your stats. Anyway, here is the latest correspondence with the Casino Manager of Casino Paycheck that should concern all of you that has ever sent traffic to Casino Paycheck.
************************************************** *******
>From Scott:
Hello Greg,
I'm emailing you from here because all my emails are monitored at Casino
Paycheck and I can't be honest unless I write from here.
I'm very aware of your problems and I tried my hardest to get everything
straightened out. Casino Paycheck is a great affiliate program for the
casino but not for the sportsbooks. I recommend you take off the
sportsbooks from your site immediately, but not the casinos. The casino and
sportsbook and two different companies that work together but have different
owners and different managers. The dealings with the casino have been
flawless, everyone gets paid very quickly, the right amount and there's
never been a problem with the stats. The sportsbooks are a different story.
I do my work as affiliate manager but the management does what they want.
I've told them who gets paid each month, the amount etc but they seem to
want to pay only what they want. Soon I'm going to be taking the
sportsbooks out of Casino Paycheck {Editor’s note – this has NOT BEEN done, despite this pledge 7 months ago, sportsbooks remain a major part of casino paycheck!) so there's no more problems in the future.
I'm going to continue to try very very hard for you to get your full amount
but I highly recommend promoting other sportsbooks (Wagerstreet, Gameday,
VIP, WSSB etc). I hope that my honesty with you is in good faith and that
you will not blast Casino Paycheck at the message boards or forward this
message to anyone else. I beleive if I push for your money and the other
person, I will get it. I'm still an affiliate like you and personally have
never screwed over the affiliates.
Scott Tucker
My Response:
Scott,
I appreciate your honesty. However, what continues to upset me is that it is obvious that you did not make this decision about the sportsbooks overnight. In fact you emailed me 3 months ago saying that you knew that i would be disappointed with the conversions, but to keep plugging away. You personally assured me that you looked into my stats and that everything was fine with my stats and suggested that I deposit myself to see if it registered. Unfortunately, I did not take you up on your offer. Now all of sudden you tell me to take down all of my CP sportsbooks immediately? hmmm...My point is because you are held in such high regard and are a former GPWA member, I took you at your word that there was nothing wrong with my stats. I appreciate your honesty now, but what about the thousands of hits and 62 signups of which I have ZERO to show for it. Do you know how many thousands of dollars I would have made with that traffic? My site was ranked #1 in Google for the term sportsbooks at the time and I have NOTHING to show for it. So while I appreciate your honesty, I would appreciate it more if you took steps to make this right.
Then Ricardo, the new affiliate manager got involved and pledged to resolve my situation of 12 months of unpaid revenue. In detail, I went through every thing that had transpired step, by step. He assured me that he would personally bring up my situation with Scott and my account to the President of the company, who he assured me would do the right thing. Unfortunately what transpired was over 2 months of being jerked around and misled.
From Ricardo:
Greg,
Good news. I have many records of your past traffic and unpaid commissions. I have been in contact with the head cpa to investigate what has been paid and what has been mistakenly overlooked, I will have all past commsiions settled with you. Please bear with me a little longer while I finalize all the necessary details.
I will contact you shortly.
Ricardo
Greg,
Thanks for the e-mail. I have worked with the top cpa. I have all of your paperwork and have sent it to one final person for approval. You are due an amount (close to $2,000). I will have some final details ready for you shortly. By the way, I had you down for a commission last month for Player Paycheck. I believe it was around $48.
Sit tight. I will have this resolved.
Ricardo
But was this resolved??? Was a single dime ever paid out? Ofcourse not. This allowed them time to manipulate my past stats and eventually lock me out of my account for good. Today I received a call from Ricardo, that there is no $2,000 to be paid (although I believe the amount should be closer to $7,000).
It was all a mistake. The statistics that had been shown on the Player Paycheck site for the last 14 months were incorrect. There was a mistake in their favor. Oh my what a surprise. And instead of receiving a check for approximately $7,000 (that he verbally admitted to me that he believe I was rightfully owed), I should expect a check for $300. Yes that is correct, over 60 real depositing Sportsbook players and a commission of $300 paid 12 months after it was rightfully do.
So I have a message for those of you that deal with Ricardo. Don’t waste your time. Yes, he is a nice guy, but he has no juice to get anything done. He jerked me around for two months with promises that the rightful amount would be paid and they would do everything they could to make this right.
Well, apparently their truth and versions of events is that my 60 real depositing players earned a total commission of $300 or $5 per real depositer. Of course, they refused to show me the stats of my players. You cannot believe anything that you hear from this company or any person that works for it. My only hope is that no one else has to endure what I did with this pathetic company and the truth come out that they are as bad as an affiliate program or casino out there.
Feel free to contact me for more information.
I would be happy to discuss this with any of your further at my private email address, gdf10@aol.com
Best regards,
Greg Friedlander
