Anyone Else Getting Hammered This Month?

Worst revshare month I've ever had in 9 years in business, I'm negative on almost every revshare account we have - regardless of geo. All markets too - negative in casino, sports, and horse racing across the board.

Europe, UK, US, doesn't matter - everywhere. Looks like a couple casino jackpot winners thrown in the mix too with several accounts five figures in the red after 100K plus wins by customers. Good for them, bad for me.

Glad I have an accountant (wife) that hammers me on being prepared for months like this! Am I alone?

Last month was my worst month in the last 10 years. I had fewer sign ups and a couple of big winners, while most of my regular players only wagered small amounts of money. I can see why many affiliates are selling their sites or links, and why many affiliate programs are closing down. It's getting harder and harder to generate a decent income in this industry.

Interesting, last month was probably my best single month in years, especially in terms of revenue.

Not as bad as you. But we took it to the face a few times in recent months. Last month a guy deposited $20 and in 24 hours managed a handle of 250k+ with 11k in wins. Not a huge loss casino wise, but off a $20 deposit!? Crappy outlier.

This month we have a couple 20k+ winners destroying margins. Such is life I guess.

Similar it sounds like. Taking a beating on sports/casino especially. A lot of month left, so hopefully it turns around - I was just shocked at the consistency in accounts around the world taking a beating. Never seen anything like it.

November was quite good as always. December so far below average. But it is Christmas. People either shop or pretend they are good. Comparable to other Decembers.

November was good in revenue, conversion lower compared with other months. Conversion a bit lower, conversion seems to be an issue at some brands. I doubt if all those stats issues, tracking issues, etc are making that better.

December is a slow-starter so far. But, it's a usual thing. End of the months here is better as people got their salary and perhaps some extra because of the end of the year.

Of course also winners, but not a problem if they do that at good brands. They'll bring it back usually. It's just gone if people win insane amounts with low deposits and are not regular players or if poor outfits are giving winners a hard time to cash it out and they decide to lose it again at another place.

Same here, November really good, this month has been very slow so far. But it's is Xmas so kind of expected. I expect Jan to be similar as people have new years resolutions to save and stop betting etc

January was once my all time high, so I guess the resolutions are weaker than the temptation to burn the money from grandma.

This industry is fun yo. Work your ass off and come out with less at the end of the month, or just go play golf all month and kill it like I did in November... It seems to matter not.

Over the years I am used to one bad month followed by a good month as winners tend to give back ,This month is actually looking to be the best month of the year but it may be down 90% by month end so not counting my chickens yet lol

Exactly the same! Even the golf part lol. Sorry to say this but glad I’m not alone. And I’m getting crushed in sports all over the globe too, us/us/everywhere. Not going to look at stats for awhile.

December started no so good, and as i see there will be no growth till the end of holidays.

Steady, larger affs are odd, when one fails another steps up, almost like they all work together to make sure i have the same amounts each month almost. almost scary.

Pretty significant turn around here Casino players all gave it back, not sure why I ever doubted it. Still negative at a lot of brands, but much better scenario over here now.

This month is also another month in which I have high rollers who have put me in the negative. Some of them negative by the thousands of dollars. I’ve also seen too many chargebacks and withdrawals.

So funny! I experienced the same phenomenon earlier this year when I took 2 vacation/trips and some of our main staff did as well. Result being that we damn near broke a profit record!
