Lightbulb Revio – WordPress theme for casino review sites (rating, bonuses, complaints)

    Hi everyone,

I'm Artem, a WordPress developer. My earlier casino affiliate themes (jGambling, jBetting, Azart) have sold 500+ copies on the Russian-speaking market, and this year I built a new one from scratch for international sites: Revio.

It's a theme for casino review and rating websites — not a gambling script: no games, no payments, just the pages an affiliate site needs, built on native WordPress (Gutenberg blocks, no page builder, no ACF).

    What's inside

    • Casino rating / toplist — editor scores, main bonuses, filters by bonus type (welcome, no deposit, free spins, cashback), compare checkboxes. Rows, cards or compact list; loads hundreds of casinos in batches; works inside articles too.
    • Casino reviews — sub-scores, pros & cons, license, payments, payout speed, specs, player reviews with star ratings.
    • Bonuses as a separate post type — value, wagering, max bet, max cashout, expiry, promo code with copy button; expired offers are marked automatically. Bonus cards, "Bonus of the day".
    • Side-by-side comparison of up to 3 casinos with a shareable link.
    • Player complaints — complaint form, moderation, casino representatives answer in the thread, answer deadlines, statuses, solved-rate stats on every casino page.
    • E-E-A-T — "Review by", "Fact-checked by", review history, author pages; author data goes into the review schema.
    • Affiliate links & click stats — every button goes through /go/casino/ short links (rel="sponsored nofollow"), clicks by casino, bonus, button and page, CSV export. Bots and your own clicks aren't counted, no IPs stored.
    • Availability by country — set the countries a casino accepts; visitors see "Available / Not available in [country]" and the rating marks or hides restricted casinos (via Cloudflare geo, cache-friendly).
    • Schema.org (Review, FAQ, breadcrumbs), 18+ age gate, cookie consent, GDPR export/erase.
    • 4 demos with one-click import, light & dark mode, 6 color palettes, 5 font pairs, RTL, translations into 7 languages, WPML/Polylang ready.

Pricing — one-time payment, free updates, 6 months of support, license key per number of sites:
    1 site $100 · 3 sites $150 · 20 sites $300 · unlimited $500
    Details and purchase

GPWA members: 20% off with the code GPWA20 (enter it in the cart) until November 23.

I'd really appreciate feedback from people who run casino sites: what's missing for your workflow, what you'd change in the rating or review layout. I'm actively developing the theme and reading every reply. Questions here or by PM are welcome.

    Thanks!
    Artem

Thanks Artem, the workflow features you listed address a lot of the friction I see on casino review sites, especially bonuses as a separate post type and the country availability flag. Two things from an SEO and editorial angle would make the biggest difference for me in day to day use.

First, bonus freshness. Wagering, max cashout, and expiry change often, and stale bonus pages are one of the fastest ways to lose trust and rankings. A dashboard view that flags bonuses approaching expiry, or reviews that have not been updated in a set period, would be more useful than another layout option. If the review history you mention can surface that date clearly on the front end, that also helps readers judge whether the information is current.

Second, performance and structure at scale. A site that grows to hundreds of casinos and bonus pages can slow down quickly if every toplist and comparison loads all of that data at once. Keeping comparison tables and toplists fast on mobile, and making sure the country filter does not create thin or duplicate pages for search engines, matters more than visual variety. If those two areas are solid, the review, complaint, and author features you described have a much better chance of actually ranking and converting.

I have this bookmarked! I will reach out so we can do 1 site and see how it pans out! I’ve been contemplating starting my own review page for a while now. I just have a lot on my plate right now. A new baby and all that.
