I’m Emily Kurtz, currently leading partnerships at Mekapay, a global high-risk payment processor that supports merchants across online gaming, gambling, forex, adult, and other high-risk verticals. How I Got Started in Online Gaming My journey into online gaming began over 7 years ago when I entered the fintech space, initially helping digital merchants overcome payment processing hurdles. Over time, I became immersed in the iGaming world, where the fast-paced nature, regulatory intricacies, and global reach deeply fascinated me. That’s when I found my niche—building resilient, compliant, and scalable payment infrastructures tailored for high-risk merchants. What I Did Before This Before stepping into the payments and iGaming ecosystem, I worked in strategic sales and business development roles within SaaS . That experience gave me a strong foundation in understanding online traffic, conversions, and revenue streams—crucial insights I now apply to partnerships at Mekapay. What I Enjoy Outside of Work Outside of work, I’m passionate about exploring emerging technologies, traveling, and spending quality time in nature. I'm also a big fan of podcasts that discuss behavioral psychology and digital innovation.
