Homeboykris died shortly after winning the first race of the day. There has been some speculation, but a cause of death has not yet been determined.

Then later in the fourth race, Pramedya collapsed and broke his leg and was euthanized on the track.

The jockey that riding Pramedya was thrown and suffered a broken collar bone and was taken to a local hospital in Pennsylvania.
