Only some days to go. We are totally not in the schedule. I really hope we an get all things done until then.

Did anyone of you see changes yesterday? I checked the rankings and nothing changed so far. Also the amount of visitors is the same. I hope that we won´t lose some rankings during the next days / weeks but I hope that we can win some new good rankings as soon as we are responsive. I hope we can finish everything by the end of the week.

We're tracking a number of keywords for some before/after comparison and nothing has shifted here yet for us (UK). That said, the 'mobile friendly' element has been added to mobile SERPs here for some weeks now so I wonder how much further it really will change - we'll see. Regardless I expect it will take some days to wash through the whole system...

Today I heard that it can take up to three weeks until the update is finished. G itself communicated that it can take up to one week so I guess we have wait at least some more days until we can see any changes.

still nothing but I read that it could be that non-responsive websites can keep their rankings when the content for the user is very good compared to responsive websites with lower quality content. So this could be a chance also.

our site is still not responsive but I can´t see any changes so far. Do you see any movements?

Still nothing major on the terms we're tracking, at least nothing outside the boundaries of normal day-to-day changes.

Anyone seen if there were any other updates/changes released at the same time? Google often like to blur things by releasing multiple updates simultaneously/in quick succession which muddies the water.

I see changes, but that also could be day to day changes. It's like a big hurricane is anounced and I see outside a spring breeze...

It´s funny I have already mentioned this in another thread. It was anounced as one of the biggest updates ever and bigger than penguin and panda but nobody can tell anything about big ranking changes. I don´t think that G will announce such a big update and then nearly nothing happens. I think that the big changes will come soon.

We're entering the 10th day now. To be honest, I expected things earlier, but I red in some articles 1 week till 2 weeks or more. If the update is just about mobile reponsiveness, there will be just big changes for websites that are not responsive. And those places will be for responsive websites... but quite a lot of websites are reponsive now or at least: Google thinks theý're responsive.

it's been dissapointing, perhaps something will change maybe not.. it may be like a full recrawl which takes 2 weeks.. I still have the same desktop vs mobile numbers..

Looks increasingly like this was just google dipping a toe in the water. Undoubtedly it is now, and will be going forward, one of the many ranking factors that they can make more/less impactful at will and perhaps they'll upweight it more in the future once the dust settles a bit, we'll see.

If the primary objective was for many more sites to be mobile friendly so that those same webmasters feel comfortable pushing PPC traffic through to their newly responsive pages, then perhaps the hysteria has served its purpose from a google perspective

Google did announce several things in the past that turned out to be completely false.

They did say like 8 months ago that Panda was already refreshed automatically and that they made Penguin part of the daily algorithm as well and then literally what happens next is no Panda and Penguin update whatsoever for the next 7 months straight.

Actually a lot of people are starting to wonder what's going on. Google actually came up with an "excuse" that since they gave away info ahead, many people prepared and minimized the impact on this new update. They also added that this is just one of the 200 signals so that's another good reason for not seeing change.

Bottom line, the hype was a bit unrealistic. Im sure many will confirm.

I did a complete redesign of two of my sites.. In fact, I am still working on it... In all honesty it was good for me, as the redesign has lead to me updating just about every webpage and rid my site of outdated content, still.. Unimpressed with the search results.

I also think that this update was communicated in a wrong way. The hype about it was too strong compared to the search changes that I can see but maybe this takes some more time to be finished. I have no idea but we will finish our website update soon anyway.
