Default 60% commission on new players

    Hi all

I'm feeling generous today and since Christmas is fast approaching I figured it's the best time of year for some extra commissions in your pocket.

So all you need to do is send me an email to Renee@RewardsAffiliates.com with your affiliate ID and I will add you into the promotion for 60% on new players for November and December.

It will backdate to the 1st of November so don't think you've already lost your chance this month.

Also just a reminder that we have a continuation license in the UK for all 29 of our brands so if you're still looking for Microgaming casinos to push in the UK, we're your man!

Now I will sit back and wait for the emails to roll in

    Cheers

I only received 2 emails overnight though so either people aren't seeing this or they don't want extra commission for nothing

    Thanks Paul

It really only takes one decent player to make a tonne of extra commission in one month. If you've already sent players this month it will backdate to the 1st, so you don't even have to do anything to get the extra

Come on guys! I'm feeling generous. Take advantage of me

Hello Renee, this is very generous of you. I am glad you are in the holiday spirit.

I always wondered about the Rewards Group. You have like 20 or 40 casinos. But I was always hesitant to promote.

I used to work as an auditor and it is a standard procedure to document fraud risks.

So if I were to write a standard fraud memo regarding the Rewards Group I would most certainly note that there is a large fraud incentive for the group to cross promote without attributing the cross promotion back to the originating affiliate. I would classify this risk as a "high inherent risk".

After writing this memo, I would then discuss with your management the types of internal controls that are in place to prevent this from happening. Because, manager comes in and sees EBITA is only 20% for the quarter, he gives zero-fucks about affiliates so decides he needs to cross promote to get EBITA to 30% because his bonus or job depends on it.

So I would like to know, does your Company cross promote? If so, are affiliates "cut-in" on the cross promotion? If they are, then what types of internal controls does your Company have to ensure that affiliates are included in the cross promotion?

This is key information for anyone to join your program for the 60%.

I am quite confident that this "issue" will be the death of me. And I am not even joking.

There is a thread here on gpwa where I have explained exactly how our cross promotion works, but for clarity I will explain it again here because despite what I have done for some people as recent as this month, they still feel the need to post incorrect information.

If the player has been referred only by affiliate tags, the player will never receive any emails inviting them to play at another casino.

The players will receive weekly and monthly newsletters from the casino which have links out, however the links on the newsletter do not have any type of enticement to get the player at another casino. Each newsletter contains the account number of their mostly recently played casino account and everything in the newsletters point to them taking up any offers at their already existing accounts. There are no bonuses listed, and the links to the casinos all say things like "click to reinstall" or "Uninstalled? Click to reinstall". There are NO links saying "Click here to join this new casino" or anything similar.

As we tag to the last referrer it is possible for 34 different affiliates to refer the same player to a single casino each. It is impossible to be fair in putting an aff tag in newsletters and so this is why there are no enticements in them to get the player joining a different casino.

If the player has come through a tag that is not an affiliate tag. IE they came directly to the casino through type in or through a marketing campaign, the player may receive something to join another casino but not until they are dormant which can in most cases be a year after they joined.

So that I can prove this, I encourage EVERYONE to create a unique email address and sign up to one of the casinos through an affiliate tag and monitor it for any cross promotion. I have even tested this myself because I wanted to see if I had been lied to (for the sake of proving everyone who says we do it wrong) and after 2-3 years I am yet to see any cross promotional emails come into that account.

Although I was feeling quite generous when I initially posted this promotion, I'm not feeling quite as generous anymore so I'll be sure not to post anything like this again for awhile. Some people will find any reason to turn something positive into a negative.

So you will lose a valued player if he/she signs up at a different CR casino.

If you want to take that risk they can be trusted otherwise.
As I said, we never send players who have only come through affiliate tags emails enticing them to join other casinos. Everything in the promotional emails has their most recent account number on there.

GCG considering what I did for you the last couple of weeks when you have been complaining to me about your sites not doing so great because of the copied content etc, I am pretty surprised that you'd be so quick to jump in here to post this.

I will remember this next time.

    Hi Renee,

Thank you for the followup. I apologize, did not know I was opening a can of worms. I hope I can still get the 60% hehe.

    So my understanding is this:
    1. Players referred by affiliates will not receive cross promotion emails INVITING them to play at another casino.

    2. Players referred by affiliates will receive weekly and monthly newsletters with outbound links (untagged) to other rewards casinos. But there is no ENTICEMENT to follow any of these outbound links.

    Question:
Why have the untagged outbound links in the Newsletter in the first place? It seems this is the source of friction because it poses a cross promotion threat.

Otherwise everything seems fine. Customer support is excellent.

    Hey SeaHawk

No probs. I was pretty sick yesterday so coming back to the thread was a bit of a mood turner. My apologies. I'll try to be a bit less moody for the rest of the day

    Your understanding is absolutely correct.

There are a few reasons those links are there:

It makes it 10000 times quicker for the player to get back playing inside the casino they are already registered at. Our aim with promotional emails is to keep the player happy at the casino they are already a member of. Apart from it being logical that we don't want to scare the player away, despite what people think it is actually cheaper for us to keep the player playing at the casino they are already a member of. Sign up bonuses are expensive and sometimes cost a lot more than we get back from them, so having the player happy at their chosen casino is far better for us.

It limits the amount of support time for players contacting support to get a link to reinstall.
A large percentage of support requests, email and live chat, are from players who have uninstalled and need a link to reinstall. Funnily enough, not all players are savvy enough to visit the casino website to do that.

It also lessens the possibility of a player searching for the casino to reinstall and coming across another casino to play at and totally missing the original one they were looking for.

I hope that answers your questions and satisfies and qualms you had about promoting our brands.

    Have a great weekend.

Sorry I need to correct myself as I didn't read your response properly.

    This is not completely correct.
I will grab an example and post here so you can see. Gimme 5 mins.

OK here you can see for yourself.

    http://www.casinorewards.com/main/newsletters.asp

All of our newsletters can be found there.
If you look at the most recent one: http://www.cr-news.com/news_masters/...m139_12_en.htm

Scroll to the bottom and you will see "Click to reinstall"
Those links go directly to the casino website. If they are reinstalling it means they are already signed up through a tag so they will log in with the details they have already used to sign up with. If that account is through an affiliate, when they log in their play will show in the affiliate account.

You can also see the account number right under those reinstall links.

Those links cannot download the casino directly because the UK gambling laws dictate that there must be at least one click before a download from a mailer.

    I hope that helps.
