Worked with them for around 6 months. Can't say it's been particularly fruitful, it doesn't seem to convert particularly well, I especially seem to find that you get an ok amount of registrations but not many turn into leads/money players or whatever it is in their back end.
My signups have slightly increased to them recently but seriously I make absolute peanuts out of them compared to the main affiliate programs.
First reason would probably be, I don't prioritise them, but second reason definitely has to be failings at their end to convert and retain customers.

Shocking affiliate software, it doesn't even record clicks if you host your own banners.

as said above, the software isn't very good but apart from that think they are ok, they dont bug you with demands and the managers have been quite helpful getting listed on some sites
they only pay CPA on poker as well which isn't the best solution

What tracking software does 888 use, out of curiousity? Anyone know?

I worked with them many years ago when I did some poker affiliating and never had any bigger problems except the standard stuff asking for more exposure bla bla.

Many webmasters haven't recommended when asked that is all I know and they ask for traffic all the time.

Maybe I should give it a try!

Received this email today, though I've known about the pending migration for some time...
Personally, I am not a fan of the uffiliates platform. Not that I was really a fan of the Joy of Bingo one either. However, Joy of Bingo was the better of the two in my opinion. As announced earlier, we are writing to inform you that the Joy of Bingo Affiliate platform and Joy of Bingo brands will be moving under the management of the 888 affiliate platform on September 2014.
We are about to begin a migration process in which we will migrate all affiliates accounts from Joy of Bingo into 888 Affiliate Program (Uffiliates).
Please note that at the end of the migration process during the first week of September 2014, your affiliate contract with Joy of Bingo will be terminated and you will no longer be able to promote our brands through the Joy of Bingo Program.
As you already have an account at the 888 Affiliate's platform, you can find all of Joy of Bingo brands and manage your campaigns in the 888 platform.
For your convenience:
All your current Joy of Bingo links will be valid for an extra 60 days and MUST be replaced by 31.10.2014.
Joy of Bingo stats will be available for another 2 months after all of your players have been migrated to your new account. After 60 days all reports from previous dates must be requested from your personal affiliate account manager.
Your Affiliate account manager can help you with sending new links and of course can answer all questions you may have regarding this process.
Rest assured, we are taking every precaution to achieve a smooth and positive transition for both players and affiliates onto our platform, and are here to answer any questions you may have along the way.
To better understand how this process will work, please contact your Affiliate Account Manager: jobaffiliates@888.com.
We understand that this change may involve some short term inconvenience, however, we hope that you understand that we are doing everything in our power to make this a smooth process, and to keep our strong, profitable relationship.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our support at jobaffiliates@888.com.
Cheers,
Joy Of Bingo Team
The cookie lenght for 888 poker is...?
Anyone?
I promoted them for a few years. They were ok. I removed them after conversions dropped and my earnings dwindled.
Not sure if this is accurate or up to date information, but as of 2012, the claim was that the cookie length is one year --- source

After working with the uffiliates program for a little bit (after being forced off the Joy of Bingo platform, here's my thoughts thus far :
All the players seem to have transferred over. I cannot figure out how to verify this fact though - but then again, we could not verify how many players we had that were active when at JOB either.
Activity seems to track properly.
Conversions are within tolerance of normal compared to when we were on the JOB platform.
I don't see any way to total out earnings per brand. I can run a report, but I have to manually add it up #painintheass.
Just about every player who has converted this month has hit for between $xxx and $xxxx.
I hate that it reports in USD.
I caution everyone who has been forced over from Joy of Bingo to uffiliates to read the terms and conditions in full. There are a great number of changes which are far from affiliate friendly, especially when compared to the Joy of Bingo terms.
I'll post more on this when I have a bit more time...

Thanks Shay, I was on a pretty hopeless 25% and it is now down to an unworkable 20% as a result of the migration and as I don't have a contact at 888 because I have avoided promoting them like the plague, they don't answer any of my emails (sent to all their addresses and via contact forms etc)!
I will now have to put Wink Bingo in the worst position, basically death row before deciding when to kill it. However I do now have a player base transferred from what was a good program to what appears to be a really bad affiliate program!
Do you remember when their starting percentage for 888sports was 10%?! These people really have a history of taking the p.
We have been patient with 888 Affiliates for many years but they convert no registrations at all and the statistics are very doubtful (IMO). I've been thinking for a long time what it's all about and maybe I got the answer in this thread. We are currently considering whether they really deserve our rating? Additionally, we had the problem that their registration page did not pop up as it should which was fixed around 6 months ago, however, their bad conversion remains the same. (with the hope of improvements)
Out of despair, I am giving them some space now. They even gave me hybrid model (some CPA on top). It is far from great, but better than nothing. Some conversions. Above average affiliate manager (in the past they were very bad and rude). Hard to say more.
If you talk to God, you are praying; If God talks to you, you have schizophrenia.
888 has always been and seemed a dead wood for me, I've never promoted them in the real meaning but still kept some mention deep on my site simply because no one ever called or whatever from their side to push me, chit-chat or anything, it costs nothing and my aff. account still looked formally legit and active. I was checking it once in a couple of months as I had no hope actually about it after years seeing nothing from it.... For my real dismay, few months ago someone landed on 888 through my link and lost a fat five-digit amount and I got paid timely next month with a nice share without any issues or hearing anyone from their side yet. So it is OK for me, much better than all other UK-recognized bookies either shutting my accounts or bombarding me with requirements to bring a new depositor each Thursday or whatever...
