Transporting my imac

Anyone had any experience in transporting their imac? I need to move mine from Marbella to Munich, but i'm struggling to find the best method. I thought about taking it has a carry on, but it won't fit into hand package. When i tapped in dimensions and weight by DHL i thought my computer was broke, because it was like 300 to 700 Euro - won't pay that out of principal - Furthermore, i've had 8 packages from DHL this year, and none were on time - in fact, i located my christmas present on 9 january when supposed delivery date was 23 december!

Any fantasy? idea? Experience on how to get this thing in one piece - Thanks, Gracias, Danke!

What size iMac is it? For the sort of money it'd take to deliver it and package it safely, could you not take it on the plane with you in a decent flight case? Am only thinking from the point of view of my musical instrument stuff, decent flight cases are a must for things like that. Yes it costs but then you have the case for whenever it's needed or could resell it.

You ca use ilugger, it should cost about 100 usd.

Make an iCloud backup ... sell the iMac in Spain!
Brought a new one in Munich and restore from iCloud!
