Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet now allow intersite transfers

This makes sense now that Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet are under the same ownership umbrella. You can transfer money to yourself between sites, or you can transfer to other people.

It would really be interesting, however, if sites that weren't owned by the same group allowed site-to-site tranfers. Buzzy knows a guy who would really like to move his Pitbull Poker balance over to PokerStars ...

I wonder what the short term effect will be on affiliates that may have a player at one room and that same player was signed up to the other room under a different affiliate.

Long term I do see this as a positive move for our players allowing them more freedom to play in either room.

As Rick suggests, it will be interesting to see the effect.

What concerns me more is that if a player signs up through me and plays at Absolute, then decides a change to Ultimate Bet would be good, will I still get the player commissions if he/she plays at the other room using the same account or a balance transfer.

good question ... considering their predatory terms about quotas.

you get one great player ....and then don't the following month ... they can .... and I know they claim they won't .... but BS! why else have such terms? they can steal that player. screw that bigtime!
