I've heard that Facebook has been closing pages related to gambling and affiliates but is this true? Has anyone had a page for years and hasn't had any issues with it?

There is an ever growing list of threads here at the gpwa in which affiliates have stated for a very long time that facebook has been closing down pages, or dropping their ads. Here are just a few:

Hi Peter,
I have had my Facebook page for Online Player Association for two years and just recently they unpublished my page. I looked at the new terms and at the end of the terms, section IV. page content B: it says "Pages that promote or facilitate online gambling, games of skill, lotteries etc. blah blah blah, are only allowed in specific countries with prior authorization from Facebook."
I replied to them saying that my page had been online for 2 years and they should have notified me about the change in terms before unpublishing my page. I then made a few changes to the page by removing casino logos and adding an 18+ image on the page. I then asked for permission to have my page and two days later is was re-published and everything is fine again.

I hope this helps.
Kind regards

No issues so far, but I heard from other affiliates that they saw their pages closed.
We have no problem with our CasinoYAY page (more than 2 years old), it is in Russian though, maybe because of that they haven't touched it yet.

If you want to be safe, stop posting links on facebook. That's the main issue. If you read facebook TOS, gambling related content is not allowed anymore.
Yes i also have an page: https://www.facebook.com/Gambling-Ti...0144437003402/

Actually my page https://de-de.facebook.com/WirSpielenBookOfRaonline/ is still online and I began with it in the year 2013.
The difference between banned and active pages is, that banned pages tried to link directly to Online Casinos. Most of them do not own a licence and thus are illegal.
Our page only links to free games on http://casino-ohne-anmelung.com, which even made facebook-ads possible.
The moment you try to send users to a real casino, you get kicked.
