Ok, I know 0 about the NFL, but I'll tell you this. I watched the lingerie bowl on Saturday, and found it hard to pick a side to support. I thought they were all exceptionally "talented".

    Speaking of ball games:

Did anyone see the Clint Eastwood directed Invictus starring Morgan freeman and Matt Damon?

I'm curious as to what people in the states made of it, as I'm sure the majority or the population don't know anything about rugby, and South Africa in general. I thought it was a very strange subject for a Hollywood movie. It's fairytale-esque, but it's all true. I was there. Watching the movie gave me a strong sense of nostalgia, and an occasional lump in the throat.

Matt Damon had the best Saffa accent I've heard in movies yet... er ok, except Wikus van der Merwe in District 9

Well on Superbowl Sunday i plan on also watching the "Puppy Bowl" on Animal Planet!! Cute as hell!! lol

I have not seen the movie Invictus yet, but plan too. I am very curious on this subject and how it all played out with Mandela? Morgan Freeman and Damon i am sure will do the country and the sport proud.

Giggles-thanks for reminding me about the puppy bowl! I completely forgot last year and then was so upset afterwards. Maybe I'll DVR so I don't forget

Whatever happened to the "Rock 'N Jock" football games on MTV, by the way? I know that was during the days of their old programming (ie. playing music), and the work "Rock" is in the title, but it really should have continued on...

VH1 used to be a sign of "aging taste", however these days it's up in the air. I'm not sure which is designed for a more mature audience: MTV's "Jersey Shore" or VH1's "For The Love of Ray J"....

Wow, I've not watched no MTV or VH1 since my kids grew up and left the house. When they were home the tv seemed to only have those two channels.

MTV doesn't play music videos anymore, don't you have to have MTV4 or something like that to actually listen to music. I remember when VH1 came out and I though, that's old people music, then it became my music, then VH1 stopped playing music too.

If I want music, I either turn on the radio or hit one of the cable music stations.....

And I would much rather watch a movie from Lifetime than almost anything on MTV

Nitro Circus and Fantasy Factory are great shows. Then again I'm an action sports junkie so they suit me.

Teen Cribs is just depressing - too many people with too much money and too little taste.

For music I travel with my favourite concert DVDs. Pity about the region encoding issues with wandering around the world though.

I whistle a lot......or if I want to clear out the room and be by myself , I pull out the guitar or harmonica and start belting a tune.
