I only went and ordered the audio version by mistake and a couple of chapters in the monotone American is not holding my attention at all. He pronounced "short-lived", "short lie-ved" ffs.

Think I'm gonna need to reorder it and perhaps train my brain to read more carefully

Ah yeah I'd say you def need to read this one. Audio book on this would never hold anyone's attention and I reckon half the info would get lost on it's way in.

Agreed reading is the best !

But audio can be good if its being told by a professional story teller. A bad teller can be annoying and destroy the fun
