No nothing major touch wood. Maybe it's not all rolled out yet or maybe was nothing to concern us anyway

It already updated on 8/28-8/30 and has settled (or so it seems)

to add - it's not a new thing. I mean time on site, bounce rate are not new to Google algo (believed at least).
In terms of affiliation (where success is if the user finds quickly what he is looking for and moves on) - i am pretty sure that google knows how to figure that part out correctly.

I'm pretty sure they look at pogo-sticking and whether a person clicks the back button. That'd be my own guess.
