Default Affiliate Managers Only Please - No Revshare No CPA

Hi people - hope i can post this here, as we are here to make money weather it be revshare, cpa or hybrid deals. so this is a new option i am introducing.

    *********

After careful consideration we have decided to stop working on a rev share basis. What we are putting in place for our site is a one off Yearly payment no revshare at all for each casino.

We are going to start charging a one off yearly fee for placement on our site and you guys keep the revshare profits. I would rather earn a one off payment each year than working my butt off to have some affiliate program or casino close its doors.

At least this way we will get paid and it won't affect either of us if your program closes or goes bust.

The yearly fee will somewhat be very cheap at the moment while we have a PR3 Ranking, but our yearly fee will go up as our page rank climbs. So it would pay to get in quick now.

What you will get is a banner on the home page as well as a full 600 word page review.
Inclusion to our weekly News Letters and inclusion and promotion mentioning in our forum.

We can do any sort of campaign you may have in mind. And can also have Video advertising on the site as well if you wish to use that sort of creative.

Please PM me if you's are interested and i can assure you the fee is very minimal. We have already had good interest from other casinos, and was told it would be a good idea to put this idea out to all.

I would rather have a set income per year than an up and down not knowing if i will get paid income at all.

    Recapping:

one off yearly fee with no revshare or cpa. what the player spends the casino makes in full. fee's at this stage are only $***.** per casino per year so get in quick. We can do options where we rotate in one space as well.

PM me for details and we can start negotiations

Also ONLY reputable casinos need approach us. just because we are doing a one off yearly placement fee doesn't mean we will accept your casino if it has had a bad reputation. We only want to work with honest and reputable casinos and affiliate programs.

We have just been advised by an affiliate program it would be good to offer in this agreement that 50% part payment upfront will be accepted and 50% 6 months into the campaign will be due. That way it gives new programs a guide and feel for the way the campaigns will go. This now takes affect from casinos who contact us after this reply posts time and date stamp.

    Sounds fishy to me.

If you were on a rev share, and your fee is as cheap as you say, then surely a couple of months would cover the fee and the rest is then a bonus....right?

A couple of question I have...

    - What would programs expect from the fee in terms of player numbers?
    - Why would you not take any casino that pays, afterall it's an advertising fee?
    - Is this different to the links on the same site that you contacted me about?
    - Can you post the fee so people know, or is that fee variable?

    Hi Martyn

Not fishy at all. If anything as the old saying goes "Casinos always Win" this will be a very good offer, there is also a guarantee that if the program does not make the full cost of the campaign within the campaign period then a full refund will be issued. I can assure you in 12 months if we are promoting your brands hard on the home page you will make more than the yearly cost. As i said above at this stage the cost is relatively low to reflect our PR3 rank and traffic.

This is a new option we are doing and the amount of players is not exactly certain. It all depends on brands, casinos and the type of software.

Taking any casino that pays is not the right path to look at. As you are most certainly are aware being an RTG based casino, they have a history of rogue casinos. Example "The Virtual Group" We aim to only promote casinos, poker and bingo sites that are totally accepted programs and will shortly have our own code of conduct that casino will have to follow. We do not accept every casino and that is at our discretion.

The site you are referring to is one of the sites yes "Players Luck"

Fee's are disclosed when the affiliate manager makes contact. traffic stats and details are then released to the affiliate manager and an advertising agreement. At this point in time until we get everything in place and contracts drawn up the fee will be disclosed to those that approach us as we requested via PM. you must know each advertising deal is not the same, it depends on what the casino wants and how many programs they wish to promote. We are open to discussions and all idea's.

No this offer might not be good for some brands, or affiliate managers might not want to do it. However these are now our terms of advertising, too many brands are going under and we simple want a set regular income that does not change with the weather. Losing out on possible revshare is something we are prepared to do. And this is actually a better offer for casinos.

Unsure how an affiliate can say they only want paid media on their site but still classify themselves as a true affiliate. Paid media deals is normally treat completely different by programs than working with affiliates and require a different set of goals.

So the true title of this post should be 'Media Buyers Only Please'

    Default New Deal

At the end of the day its all about money . Jamie is obviously trying out a new business model and some will take it up and some wont. Wether its revshare or paid up front, it does not alter the fact that Jamie is an affiliate.

Good luck with this tactic and let us know how it works out.

A quick question though - why would you be charging according to your sites PR. That really is not an indicator. Its all about traffic . So you might have a low PR site but a significant amount of traffic.

Thank you for that post. And regarding page rank and traffic. You are correct, page rank isn't just the factor a price rise. Our traffic details are released to the affiliate manager prior to any agreement being reached.

Not meaning to derail, but I just wanted to add that I'm very interested in how you get on, Jamie. Props for trying something different!

I can understand from a webmaster point of view that it is easier to settle for a fix fee, yet I think that the issue here is summed in this paragraph.

The choice of casino & affiliate program. Being afraid to make the wrong choice and having your efforts go waste. With bigger operators in the industry shutting down or being forced to stop operations, it does not instill confidence.

Everyone in this industry has to work their butt off to make a difference, from Aff manager to customer support agent.

Yet i would say that this is the industry we choose to operate in now, there is no such thing as guarantees here.

And those little gambles makes it all that exciting and rewarding!

    Good luck Jamie
