Skill games niche

Guys,

I have some skill games niche sites, for the Gin Rummy, Kalooki, Canasta and such games. I have found these games 1/2 power on the internet than Poker and 1/4 power than casino. Am I right ?

Do you believe in the future of the Rummy games ?

Skill Games - is a hard nut to crack - very few operators have done this successully in my opinion - in fact I can name but two: GameAccount and Rummy Royal.

The value is slightly lower than traditional casino and poker, because of the nature of game play - however it does help you diversify conversion on your website site if targeting a generic audience, or even assist with retention strategies longer term.

The thing to remember is that variety is the spice of life.

I have a couple of rummy sites and its hard work and the majority of players don't have the value of a casino player but I would say from my experience they aren't far off an average poker player.

I have also had a few players that spend a lot more than average although unfortunately they seem to have disappeared teh last two months.....Lets hope they are resting on some desert island saving their money for the Autumn!

It's actually my first time to have heard words about the game. I may be able to tell it's future once I get to play rummy like how I play poker.

I have skill games section at both my sites for several reasons.
1) it provides added content to sites that feature casino games info and thus attracts a more diverse audience.
2) it lends legitimacy to your site in that game players who may otherwise shun casino gambling would take an interest in games like chess, backgammon, rummy, etc.
I also include the genre of 'physical skill games' like billiards and darts.
This statement says it all: "In most countries, skill games do not constitute gambling because they involve predominantly skill, as opposed to chance, and are designed as interactive online entertainment for adults."
3) Skill games blend in nicely with casino skill games like poker, blackjack, video poker, craps, etc. I include links to my poker articles at the skill games page at GT.
At gamerisms, I blend skill games not only with poker, but will soon have a section about skill video games.
4) PPower and Ladbrokes offer skill games, so if you are an affiliate, you can pick up their marketing materials along with casino and poker.
5) If you are a game player, you grew up on skill games.
Personally, I learned rummy before holdem poker and gosh darn it, these games are fun to play

Thanks for the notes, today i see that there are many more webmasters on the market and the competition is getting stronger. Its true like Alex said, that the pie is not as big as "online casino", but still interesting.
