Actually, it's not referback but don't you find it questionable?

Well, without seeing how you're marketing it, or what they're offering, it's impossible to tell.

The download ratio dosenīt look too bad, but 1 realplayer out of nearly 100 downloads is exstremely low.

But it depends on their welcome bonus, as some bonuses take some time to play through, or if itīs a freebie you could have attracked a lot of bonus hunters.

If itīs questionable or not is actually not the question IMO - cause whether or not it dosenīt change your 1 player out of 100 downloads picture.

You could try some different ways of marketing the casino, and if the picture dosenīt change in 2-3 months I would drop them.

It's Vegas Partner Stats for the past 4 months.
I'm not sure if my site sucks or the tracking of Vegas sucks, or maybe the merhants do.
I don't mention shaving as far as I'm aware of that this expression is tabu here.
I emailed them about the stats but the reply was bull.
    Thank you for the responses.
Maybe you could peek into my site and let me know if it sucks big time.

The tracking they use is up the creek without a paddle

I worked out that every visitor sent to them is recording a hit for EVERY page he looks at. Add too this that I am pretty sure that the software is recording multiple download attempts and you will begin to see how they are digging their own grave.

Lets put it this way, I have precisely the same type of results at all casinos using this tracking. Loads of hits (way more than my domain should be sending), loads of downloads, and few if any reals.

And so, we the affiliate look and say, we sent 1000 visitors, 100 downloads, and only 1 player. YOU must be deplorable. Truth is that they were probably sent 350 hits for 35 downloads and 1 real.

Still unacceptable but a very different picture. Remember that they are also well marketed and that makes it all the harder to convert them.

It will probably be time for them to come down then. Thanks for your analysis Big B.

    Hi

Just to be fair to them

I don't think I have ever eluded to them not reflecting the downloads and the players. It's just that your hits are overstated by quite a bit. Fortunately there is no way that registrations can be overstated

That said, I think it wouldn't hurt to e-mail Antoinette and warn her that you are NOT happy and are wanting to pull them down. I told her in Vegas that the stats are over stating. No way do I send them the hits they are showing. I don't think they have bad properties. I don't believe they are shaving neither.

I didn't mean to imply that you in any way said they were dishonest or shavers.

I was going to have to pull them for poor performance anyway and your comment about them being over promoted was the catalyst for my action.

I think they are an honest program, and have had a few players there in the past, just not the past 5 months.

So, on to newer and a less saturated casino.

    Thanks Big B!

ok, this scares me. is there something about Referback I don't know? Admittedly, I am pretty ignorant when it comes to knowing all the pros and cons of various programs (which is why I am so glad I stumbled upon this great site)
But I never had a problem with them? Should I avoid using them?

No, you shouldn't avoid Referback, it's just that they can be a hard sell and that's proven itself out over time and hundreds of affiliates.

BUT, they seem to have excellent player retention after you get them in there, so it's worth it to some of us.

Their retention is pretty good. And actually i also have 12 downloads & 3 real players from 81 clicks from referback in Nov so far which is quite reasonable.

I personally think that a lot of the time its the old business adage of "managing expectation". If you send players thru with higher expectations than are actually offered - ie: outdated bonus terms, incorrect info etc etc, then you're less likely to get them downloading. If you manage to make it sound worse than it is and they still click, then you probably get a better d/l ration

    Tell it like it is.

    Reverse logic in full effect.
