    Default Affiliates Emails

Hello! How much time the affiliates support usually take to answer the emails? I already sent emails to 2 poker affiliates (small rooms though) and one week later I still didn't got any answer, of course I won't put them on my site. Thanks.

It varies dramatically between rooms, some will get back to your right away others drag their feet a bit. I prefer the companies I work with to get back to me within a day or two.

A week with no contact kinda sucks.

Most programs will answer in the first 24 hours. You may want to send another email. It could have been lost in the spam folder. I would also recommend sending it to the main support email instead of to a specific affiliate manager. There have been times when I sent an email to joe@affiliateprogram and find out later joe no longer worked there.

Also, if after a few emails you don't get a response send an email to the admin here at GPWA. If it's important then they might send an email for you to see if they can get some attention for you.

    Best of luck.

If I can speak for other rooms, response time can vary due to the amount of e-mail received per day or if the affiliate has been contacted via work e-mail or personal e-mail. Different factors playing a role here.

It also depends on how the relationship is with the poker room. For example we work with contacts via e-mail, skype, and msn. So their might always be a way to catch us eventhough we might not be in the office.

But as I said, it depends on the room and their affiliate team. Some prefer to only handle via e-mail. In fact e-mail is the official resource to handle with affiliates. It is what we also encourage to do first.

I am new to this business myself and I can tell you that the affiliates that don't answer you now won't answer you in the future either. You don't need that when your starting out. I emailed three or four on the list weeks ago and still haven't heard from them.

Take it one affiliate at a time and see what they say and keep track of their response times. The good ones will help and be there for you.
    They don't respond................toooo bad.

A good program will get back to you within 1-2 days, some programs may ignore you for months, especially if you are requesting a payment.

Are you writing to a specific manager, or to a "contact us" account? A direct email to a manager should take 1-2 days max, of course keep in mind they may not be checking emails over the weekends. A contact us email usually gets to the right place on time, but sometimes if it makes it to the wrong manager, it will take a day or so longer to get answered. One week is too long...

    My record is 7 months..

PaddyP really had a hard time to decide, but now when they approved me I'm not even sure I want them anymore

Usually its anywhere from the same day to a week though.

Have you tried contacting the person via another method?

Sometimes your email may go to the spam box etc. It happens a lot with emails coming from domains containing gambling related terms, or just terms in your email..

If the person has a few methods of contact listed, I would start trying the others.

Although I think it's unacceptable to not reply to an email for a week, I also know that a lot of the time I've received emails saying "why haven't you replied to my email?" and I actually never received it because it went to the junk.

Another option would just be to send a plain email with nothing else in it and ask "Did you get my last email?"

    You may get a reply..
