If trying to get money that was earned as a webmaster because the DOJ won't allow Quicktender to send it to my bank falls into that category then I'd say that quite a few folks will be guilty. I'm sure an attorney could fight that one.

Money laundering is the practice of disguising the origins of illegally-obtained money. Ultimately, it is the process by which the proceeds of crime are made to appear legitimate. The money involved can be generated by any number of criminal acts, including drug dealing, corruption, accounting and other types of fraud, and tax evasion.

If USA affiliates are aiders and abettors, than an offshore affiliate that helps a USA affiliate get their money will be aiding and abetting the aider and abettor.

Yep, one big aiding and abedding family we will be. LOL

Since we are already in bed with the igaming sites we may as well do something that will benefit us.

I’m going to ask QT if they can return my funds to the original sender, since they are offshore, and have the site wire or send me the funds. This would avoid the hassle of opening an offshore account.

A U.S. court ruled in the favor of a guy that said he had the rights to the bodog name and domain. If I am correct, the court ordered the domain shut down by the registrar.

The details are sketchy and they ended up getting their domain back. It seems like someone found a loophole and exploited it to get Bodog to pay them for the domain. I wouldn't be surprised if this case started the wheels turning at the DOJ.
The domain seizures won't be effective at this point with established remaining sites. Network sites are practically immune to it. The general population of regulars now understand that the domain extension doesn't have anything to do with the software services. The original seizures caused a stock market crash like effect of panic because it appeared as if everything was taken over, when in fact, the .com was simply seized from unprepared services.

Imho, the main concern for affiliates and players now is payment processing.
