    Default African Affiliate Programs

    Hello,

We are publishers in Kenya. We have joined several affiliate programs around Africa. Some work well while others have issues especially with payments and communication (Especially emails not being responded to)

Is there a link where we can see all the affiliate programs available in Africa to join?

    Hello Jephithah,

Nice to meet you! I know a lot of people from Kenya and Nigeria. My favorite singer is Davido

My 2 cents: You should contact the main affiliate programs (maybe starting with the ones listed here under Sponsors) and asked them if they support Kenya for:

    - Payment methods
    - Game selection (some software providers blocked games for specific countries)
    - Withdrawal methods (Specially the timing. You will not want to have players that takes them 3 months to make a withdrawal)
    - Bonuses (Ask if there are restrictions for specific type of games)

Basically make a list of all the things that you want to be OPEN for Kenya and based on that you will have the affiliate programs that you can send your traffic.

    Good Luck!

    Hi,

In KE, best options would be betway and/or Betraha

I would recommend for Kenya 1x partners and buffalo partners. Both are good.

interesting to read some names. I'm not involved yet with Africa (Kenya or Nigeria they seem to be the most interesting ones).
did someone try any big local brands? like bet9ja, nairabet?

    oh well - from Betraha:
We will share with you a percentage of the revenue gained from every customer you acquire! You will receive 30% of revenue for the first 90 days and 10% thereon.

For an affiliate "Terrible" I would say....

Bet9ja are a great program. Nairabet shut their program down after years and years and all affiliates lost their players. But looks like Editec have bought them and the program might now return

Yup, not ideal. As with everything, am sure it's all negotiable. Main thing to always make sure, especially in African markets, are for local payment gateways. Without those...no point in promoting them at all

Nairabet, interesting if Editec will take over, at least someone with experience. But how you would deal with an operator that has stolen all your players??

Bet9ja, the worst thing I see is their negative carryover

6.7 If the total Monthly Net Profit is negative for a given calendar month, the negative balance will be rolled to the next month, until a positive balance is achieved. Without prejudice to the provisions of Clause 6.4 above, any negative balance will be set-off against the positive Monthly Net Profit generated in the following calendar month .

probably one of the few applying this unfair deal to their affiliates...but probably as you said in the other comment, it would be "negotiable" I assume

    Hey!
I'm sure since the day you posted this you managed to get some good experiences with different Africa affiliate programs.

I'm a publisher from Tanzania and currently working with
    - Meridianbet (they refused to pay me)
    - Parimatch (still not reached the minimum threshold)
    - BetwayPartnersAfrica (still not reached the minimum threshold)
    - 10betAfrica (reached the minimum threshold this month, I'm waiting for them on the next month)
    - Gal Sport Betting (Overall good, received payments on-time)

So can you share your experiences and recommendations for good Africa Affiliate Programs, especially in East Africa.

    Hi Jephithah

I know that this is not speaking directly to your question. Would you be able to let me know which affiliate programs you have found to work well for you in Africa ?

I am looking to start affiliate in Africa, and have applied to 22Bet, Betano, Mozzart, 1XBet and Bet9ja. Can you guys recommand them? And is it possible to get a nice Hybrid deal for Africa? i work with Affiliate in Europe, but i guess it is different to Africa maybe?

I can personally give good feedback on Mozzartbet (of the ones you mentioned).
1xBet is also fine, they have an ok product and even though their affiliate support isn't best - you will eventually get assitance.
Betano - they have good support and communication with affiliate, but I can't speak for the product. Very very very low conversions (or maybe it's just me).
Bet9ja - same as Betano, but without the "support" part. Generally, it's is probably the most well-known brand in Nigeria, so it's pretty tricky to get new users in.
22Bet - can't say much about them as I haven't really ever been able to properly take off with them.

Regarding deals, it depends on your website, traffic and how interested those brands are in you. Generally speaking, player value in most (especially West) African countries is low. Therefore, hybrid deals are often not worth it for the operator.
