no more sports betting from Brightshare as of yesterday, May 29, 2012.
this might be early to ask, but post and share if you're having issues with rev share. not that i expect any - Brightshare are legit through and through.

This is our post on the shut down: http://www.onlinecasinoreports.com/n...shuts-down.php
Not many sources on this online...
wasn't best pleased about this, only spoke to them at LAC about how good they are going to be etc etc and I finally start some good figures coming through and then they send an email at 2.30pm saying they are shutting as of now.
wonder if we still get anything if the players stay and play the casino????
I agree with the "little- to no-notice" on this one...
Guess many smaller EU facing books will close due to regulations.
Yes, when it rains it pours, and the industry does seem to function in trends and waves.
Time will tell!
Thanks for the heads-up.
I have / had a players account there for sports (because they have bad lines on minor football leagues) but I had not heard ANYTHING about them closing down. Very poor communication.
They simply switched the balance across to their casino - but let's see how the withdrawal process goes.
Our players never seemed to like the book much.
Wish they told me about this, not very good from Brightshare for the lack of info. Was getting some regular income from AllYouBet, what can you do?!

What a terrible affiliate. No communication at all, no e-mail notice to affiliates about this, and they just redirecting the players to 10bet with their link.
I am removing everything that has to do with Brightshare.
CityGuard - thanks for moving this to the BrightShare thread, because I really had not seen it before.
The following email was sent to all BrightShare affiliates who had brought in even 1 sportsbook player in the previous six month:BrightShare would like to inform you that due to changes in regulation, the AllYouBet Sportsbook will be closing as of May 29, 2012. AllYouBet is no longer accepting registrations, deposits or bets. The closure of AYB was the client's decision and, as such, not in our control. The best we could do was inform affiliates as soon as we could - AYB remained open to existing players for 10 days after our letter went out to affiliates.
All players' funds are available and waiting for them at All Slots Casino, the sportsbook's associated online casino. In addition, all open bets will be honoured.
As the sportsbook operation will no longer be active in our portal, please stop sending sports traffic to the site.
We are encouraging players to continue playing at All Slots Casino, and you will continue to receive rev share for the lifetime of the player.
Your BrightShare account will remain active, and you will always be able to log in to access your reports.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact support@brightshare.com.
We would like to thank you for all of your efforts to promote AllYouBet and we look forward to joining forces with you to promote our casino brands.
All AYB player accounts and balances were transferred to All Slots Casino - with affiliate tracking tags. Players were enticed to play at AS with special bonuses, etc. Even bonus balances and play-through requirements were transferred from AYB to AS.
I hope this fills in the blanks on what really happened......
Thanks - Marcia

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!
It has nothing to do with "big affiliate - small affiliate." It has to do with which affiliates are in which markets. But I will take your point up with management for the future.
Thanks - Marcia
