Am I spamming?

I have on my homepage a link to UrlTrends(www.urltrends.com) with their accompanying text: "A free service that allows you to view any URLs PageRank™, Alexa Rank, popular search terms, incoming links and more!"

I ran Copyscape on my homepage to check for any improper copies. It found the above text on 10 different sites.

So, am I spamming?

No, that's not spamming. May not help their link much, but it is pretty typical. Look in web directories and you will see the same link title and description of the same website over MANY directories.

It is not spamming. Just not a great practice if it is your own links... gotta vary them up a bit.

I just checked few other internal pages where I have link information of partners with whom I have exchanged links. They are also shown by Copyscape. I hope they are not identified as spam.

NK, one sentence on a page will not get you penalised for duplicate content

I agree with the others, there's no way Google will penalise you at all for this and it won't be see as spam of any kind.
