Welcome onboard Gary - interesting that you've started off developing facebook pages first and are now looking at launching a website/app. In the last 18 months I've noticed a lot more 'new' affiliates taking this route which is almost an exact reversal of the 'traditional' model. Even now there are some established very large and successful affiliates who are only just getting around to developing their brands on social media and some of them are finding that upstarts such as your self are already getting that critical mass of followers and likes that allows them to dominate!

AFAIK, you need to have an established website in order to get your membership upgraded - not sure if FB pages will count, but I guess it can't hurt to ask.

And I think we'd all be interested in hearing more about your social media exploits - what strategies are you using to gain the followers? And are you seeing positive results?

Nearly 19K likes on your fb page is very impressive, the community seems pretty active too. Are you converting players well?

With 20k likes perhaps it should be you giving us the advice and tips.

I'm not experienced with them but facebook has a number of widgets and plugins that should help bring some of your facebook audience across to the site. Adding some kind of social login could encourage user generated content such as reviews, comments and shares which tend to help search rankings.

I think I will say the same thing as everyone else, please share how you got that many likes! We would be happy to return the favor... but many have said 19k and 20k...

When I look it is 18K, this makes me think you are gaining and LOSING 1k+ per day, meaning these are likely bought likes from fake accounts...

Edit: Opps so sorry, My Facebook must be giving the wrong statistics, I scrolled down and saw all the comments from real people. For some reason Facebook will not display your likes. Is you page so good you broke Facebook?
