AMP issue

Hey,

i've installed AMP for wordpress and now my homepage for some reason doesn't show the content but just the posts. Any idea how to fix that.

Also, in GWT i see visit to
site/page/

and then seperate for
site/page/amp/

Is that ok?

As i know, AMP plagin for wordpress supports only posts.

Yes, this is normal. I don't know how this algorithm work, but sometime Google may show page some times amp-page. If i understand right it may depend of users internet speed and some other factors. And don't forget, that AMP page must contain some parametrs. For example AMP page must have image with fixed size. Otherwise Google understand that this is AMP page, but don't show it as AMP because they don't have image, and show is as ordinary mobile page.

Still now sure about is it ok in terms of GWT or need to adjust in someway.

I would tend to ease off on the AMP thing. Surely, a few results in google are being promoted through it, but in the long run I personally believe Google is going to abandon the project with so many websites having viewport by default now.

Google's main problem is understanding what's written on the page, even though one may guess that it does or can - considering its rankbrain magic potion - but it doesn't.

It just relies on validation from other pages within the same website or documents from other websites to push the page upwards in the index. This can take months, if there are less number of documents supporting your target document either within your website structure or from elsewhere.

I would be concerned about making more documents (webpages) to support your target page to improve ranking, instead of expiring energies on an unending debate on whether google would like to date AMP or its best friend: the normal web page.

And to answer your question, AMP supports posts as far as my knowledge can fathom.
