Another complaint - sorry

I hope I don't seem to be on a roll or anything, its not my intention, but here is something disturbing.

I own a forum based website and I have staff that also promote casinos with me on the site. I downloaded the " sun Vegas Casino " from my staff members affiliate link. I deposited 100.00 and lost it. No problem there,

But my staff member asked me if I used her link a week later because it never showed up in her stats.

She emailed them and asked about it.
This is what they said.

"I apologize for the inconvenience caused. There was a problem with the
stats updating but we have fixed it now. "

This is from the vegas partner. The people that run crazy vegas etc.

Now what bothers me, and It really does. Is they didnt send out an email to their affiliates about any problems. I also bet if my staff member didnt mention it, they would not have adjusted the earnings for her.

They did fix it though, only to of course have a winner a day later and bring my staffs affiliates earnings down to 0.00

Is that not just a little bothersome?

Hi Puma,

I know exactly which affiliate you are referring to. The error with the stats was not a general error across the board for all affiliates therfore no notification was made.

The was an error with a few of the tags that came in and we have corrected it. We have made provision for this sort of error not to occur in the future.

If this is the case, then you knew it was only a few affiliates that were affected. Did you email these affiliates? How did the system only pick a few affiliates to not update? Is it not one system. Did the bug just pick certain affiliates?

Just odd to me. i use to promote your casinos, of course I dont now with your new system. never made more than 30 bucks the entire year lol.

Puma, may I give you a little gentle advice, please?

This is business like any other business in the world, online or on land - mistakes, errors, technical glitches, slow payments, lost payments, customer problems, communication problems, nice people, nasty people - it all happens, has always happened, and will always happen. It is a part of business, and even more so when you're self-employed.

Yes, problems can be stressful - or not. It all depends on how you choose to react to them, and how you handle them. Generally, with a little patience and a little effort on your part to find out what happened, they're fixed quickly with very little pain.

However, if you choose to make a "mountain out of every mole hill", you're going to completely stress yourself out, as well as the people you're trying to work with, and you'll get less & less cooperation from them, which will eventually make things very difficult.

Calm down, and learn to praise & appreciate the efforts made on your behalf, rather than to focus on the problems.
