    Default Another Question?

I know a few of u guys are good people, if u get to many people saying the same thing something is wrong.

Why is cindy still in power? Also if nothing is done wrong , why do u have to sign a form. What so secret about a webmaster associtions? I check around no other webmasters assocation has this much problems.

Why does everything has to be done in secret? Dont make no since.

Either u up to know good or u straight out doing something illegal

The reason the private forums were created was because no one would answers questions in public about the casinos, their tracking, and more. That's all. This is not an association for players, so they weren't allowed in, and neither are any casinos allowed in the private forums.

We have a Membership Team that runs a number of checks which is why it takes a couple of weeks to get the applications thru.

You are correct in assuming that a Casino could attempt to send a plant in to get membership within the GPWA.

Like Cindy said, we do have criteria and checks in an effort to thwart this, such as a time limit the Portal Site must be in operation, among other security related checks.

You may even be correct in assuming that a Casino Group could actually get past these checks, but let's take a look at what they would gain.

They would gain an insight into some of the checks and audits some of us perform to check the validity of things such as stats and comission payments reliability. They may also learn of webmasters that may be unhappy about a particular program. At times, some webmasters see the value of questioning and discussing such issues with their peers, and getting more feedback from other webmasters, before going out on a limb with a particular group and possibly jeopardizing a solid business relationship.

They could possibly learn some valuable insight into how some Portal Operators market their sites, or they may see how many webmasters are very quick to help each other with problems or questions about a particular property or group when it seems the Affiliate Programs' Staff doesn't seem to even want to answer emails or offer support.

These are just a few of the things they may learn, and none of them are so earth shattering that it should be worth the risk to the Casino Group.

You see, if it was EVER learned that a Casino Group or property did this, and it was discovered that they in fact had done this, it would seriously damage their credibility with many webmasters both in and outside the GPWA. An action such as this could easily have a detrimental effect on the amount of exposure webmasters give to that group.

Many business relationships between Portal Webmasters and Casino Groups have been built on solid foundations of Trust, and we applaud the Casino's that understand this and help us mutually nurture those relationships.

We urge Casino Groups and their associated Affiliate Companies to continue with us as we move forward, and ask any that are not already working with us here at the GPWA to contact the Management with any questions on how we can work together for mutual benefit!
