    Question Another strange hack discovered

Here is one issue that I have seen which wasn't mentioned. They put innocent sites urls in hacked pages (including casinos)

example: kleinkrieg.com/blog/wp-content/plugins/democracy/927?easy=278 if you change the number "927" from anything from 1 to 999 you will see different pages all containing links to sites.

This post was moved to it's own thread since it was posted in a thread which made it somewhat off-topic, and will get better exposure on it's own.

It is hard to tell the motivation of what you discovered, and it appears the owner of site that contained the theme files which was a different domain is not active.

It is possible the person that had the xxxhttp://kleinkrieg.com site up may have been hacked like you speculated, since the pages point at theme files of a site that does not have wordpress on it and does not contain a wp-content folder and is for sale with a splash page on it.

I did not see any live links to those pages, so not sure if the developer caught it and removed them, or they exist somewhere within the site structure as I did not see a site map.

The website owner of kleinkrieg.com is Stefan Klein (Artist name: Stefan Kleinkrieg) from Hagen, Germany, a former part of the German rock band "Extrabreit" who was famous here in the 80's from last century. This is his personal website. A blog for his fans, and it's all about music.

Here you can see him on October 2015 when he last updated his blog:

Stefan Kleinkrieg is and was in no way involved in any online casino business. His website was hacked obviously a long time ago because for any reasons the infiltrated websites do no longer work. I don't believe, that he has ever realized it.

ON 1 of those 999 pages I have a site in those pages that showed up in my backlinks, which is how I discovered it. There is a lot of sites in those pages most likely scraped off search results.

    Thanks Leopold,

I actually assumed it was something like that, but did not know the artist was well known even if an artist from the past...as I have not been very involved in German music scene for some years....lol

I admit, that Germany really is not the center of international music.
We love our German folk music too much. Since one year now I have the feeling 99% of the German people hear this song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8IBeWrCNH0) again, again and again, on birthday, on the street, when they kiss, on marriages, everywhere. When you read the English subtitles you can call it crazy, but you can't fight against this earwig. You can switch through the TV channels, latest after one minute you hear it again on any broadcaster in the background.
But from time to time, once in 50 years or so a German artists can storm the US charts.

For example "99 Red Balloons" from Nena, the in English translated version of her German never ending hit "99 Luftballons"

1983 during the climax of the Cold War Nena stormed place 2 of US charts with this song and she was in the US charts for 23 weeks:

For a German artist this is like to win the Olympic Games.
