Question Another tracking problem at Star Partner?

    Hi Conrad,

I just saw your new Hell Boy advertising material etc. Very cool.

However I expect there could be some errors with the tracking.

If I direct a player to one of your casinos they will see a new hell boy banner in the bottom of the screen. If they click this link they will be directed to http://www.vegaspartnerlounge.com/hellboy.asp which carries my tag. No problems yet.

But if scroll down at this page (http://www.vegaspartnerlounge.com/hellboy.asp) to where the casino logos are, I see that if I click one of this logos I will be taken to something like http://www.tonyparksbadly.com/cus/cus-en-1.asp. This link also has my btag, but when I am directed to the casino which logo I clicked, it is no longer my btag, but btag=w6241c253p001b1078.

Could you please clarify and/or correct?

    Regards,

    Peter

    Hi PJotter,
    <o></o>
My apologies for only replying now, I have been ill with the flu.

I sent your query through to our design team to test the code and review your
comments and I have have received a response from them. I am embarrassed
to say that the problem wasn't due to something technical that went massively a
rye but it was due to human intervention.

There was a legacy issue with the logos because one of our designers
erroneously copied and pasted the html from an old mailer wanting to use
the logo layout without thinking of checking if there were any existing tags in the
html that may have been used for a previous campaign or affiliate and saved the
page, this led to the logos being hard coded with a tag.

This error was thankfully picked and was corrected when our QA dept. reviewed
the page, it was corrected immediately before any of our affiliates actually sent us
any real traffic to that page.
