Not Bad but there are a lot of banners. It looks like not professionally. There is no useful information for players, when they are looking for casinos they want to read your review on them, your comments and the other useful information of the casino, but you offer only banners.

And about your keywords. Try to choose one, two keyword and optimize your page using these keywords.

I agree. You need to cut down on the banners to speed up the page loading times and try to get at least a few more pages filled with good content.

A few ideas you might like to look at :

    1. Guide to starting casino gambling.
    2. An overview of deposit methods.
    3. Some game rules.
    4. Casino reviews.

These are just a few topics that may gets you started if you're looking for a little inspiration but you can write on anything related really.

This was my first site www.jackpotcasinoguide.com

I have learned alot in the past 4 years I have been doing this. The main thing is you have to offer people something different. If its the same thing they can see everywhere else, what good is it!!!

Good luck with your website and get rid of those banners

Welcome to GPWA jd! You are on the right track and some tweaking will work wonders. Try some tables and boxes for a cleaner look. You can also add alot of text with the banners you have for searches to pick up within the tables. Be sure to add spaces between banners so your site is user friendly and no one has to squint lol. You will need to choose your fave casinos to promote to make room and lose the rest.

Don't worry to much about page rank. It is highly overrated. It is better to have a few good searches than alot of meaningless traffic.

Best of luck and feel free to ask!

I agree with all of the input given. I would also like to add a few suggestions to consider. First, while the red on black is "cool", a lot of people have a hard time reading any text color on a black background. If it were changed to a white or pale color with dark text, it might be easier to follow without the squinting mentioned above

As far as the overdone ad banners, here's my thought... Create an area for Top 3 Picks of the Week. Picks of the day would be even better if you have the time to change the page that frequently. Choose 3 casinos, take a short exerpt from your review (change it up as needed) to say why it made pick of the day/week. This would create frequent content change, plus encourage previous traffic back to your web site.

Last, and you probably know this, but I'll say it just in case... When you have the web site the way you want it, be sure to run your content through a spell checker and read over it for any puncuation fixes. The more professional the web site appears, the more visitors will take it seriously.

You're on a great track, keep it up and good luck!

    Hi Justin,

Good effort for your first try...

A couple of things I'd consider:

Remove your intials from your title tag, far better to use keywords here than your full URL name.

Your meta discription tag could do with some more words:
    <meta NAME="Description" CONTENT="The best Free money Deals found here!">

Try to be more discriptive while including your main keyword phrases. Eg Casino Portal, Casino Gambling and so on. Try to represent the keywords you've used in your body text and include these in your discription as well as in your meta keywords too. NB - Don't over stuff keywords, try to focus on 3 phrases and work with those.

    The other points...

I'd be removing your home address from the site too, also if you really want to have a means of contact, grab yourself a free email account. Using your private ISP email leaves yourself open to being Spammed, big time!

Apart from that all I can say is keep coming back here and asking questions, take a look at some SEO (Search engine optimization) tutorials and enjoy yourself.

    Cheers

Great JD, that is sooo much easier on the eyes! Now maybe some work on the content and set up. The paragraphs you wrote are great and targeted to the beginner gambler. Could that be your niche? I would cut it way down with an introduction to your site followed by a link to an article to Read More. Then add casino info along with your selected banners.

Select casinos and programs you have confidence in and promote them with software facts and bonus offers. If you are indeed targeting beginners to online gambling, maybe some freebies to start? I would bet you would be a great guide. When ready to deposit, you will have that info for them too.

You are coming along wonderfully JD. I know it's alot of work but don't give up. I swear, when I started I read 52 pages of this freshman forum lol.

While it is the law in the US to have a mailing address in newletters, that may not be the case for everyone. Since I do live in the US, I now have a PO box I use for this.

Also, as for spam, I have a contact form on my sites, which cuts down on bots getting my email addy. Since I have unlimited email accounts, I've set up specific email address only for the contact form. That way I know where any spam comes from, and I can easily change the addy in the contact form, and delete the other one at any time. I've begun setting up separate email accounts for each place where I need to provide email address. That way I always know where spam comes from. Takes a couple of minutes extra, but it has cut down spam tremendously!

When starting out, this always happens, you want to do 20 things at once and upload everything yesterday, linktrades, faq`s, different languages...

my advice is, relax, do one thing at a time and sooner or later the clicks (and money) start rolling in...
