Anyone dressing up this weekend?

To be honest I was left with the impression that Halloween was celebrated only in US.

Ok well here is my Avatar costume.
I did the makeup myself (impressed myself actually) just by following a youtube tutorial. Got the costume, wig and contacts from an online store called Costume Box.

Lol, I went for a much lazier option. I wore an obnoxious hawaiian shirt (that I already owned ) and a santa hat.... party santa!

Good work on the make up - that's pretty impressive!

Yes the navi drink diet coke. Thats how they grow so tall and skinny
Actually only one person commented on the fact that I didn't get on stilts. Noone else noticed that part. I just told them I couldn't find any in time


There was no prize for best dressed, although I'm not sure I would have won anyway. We had a Korean Rambo (which looked awesome btw - the guy is ripped), we had one guy show up on a horse (i.e. he was a jockey on a blow up horse, but his legs were the back legs of the horse). We also had a man eating shark (shark was the costume and he was sticking out of its mouth)...
There were some bloody good ones.

Eaten by a shark seemed popular this year! It was the first time I'd seen the costume in the costume stores so maybe it was new.
