Important Partner Brand Update- Bodog.co.uk and Bodog.eu

Dear Partners,

In response to the press release made last week by the Bodog Brand on behalf of BodogUK (http://www.prnewswire.com/news-relea...171123011.html) we have the following changes to Bodog.co.uk

Bodog.co.uk

• Bodog.co.uk is no longer accepting any new player registrations

• Bodog.co.uk will remain in operation as a standalone Casino brand and will accept new signups in the future when its new Asian-optimised website is launched

• As such, the Bodog.co.uk Sportsbook, Racebook and Poker Room features will be removed this Friday, October 5th

• Players will have the option to request a cash out or continue playing on the casino product as usual

There are also changes to Bodog.eu as the Bodog brand will use the site to redirect the relevant players by region to a Bodog operated licensee:

Bodog.eu

• Effective immediately Bodog.eu is no longer serving players directly but, where applicable, will redirect to the relevant Bodog licensed operator

• Bodog.eu players will have their balances paid out in full

• If you have players who registered under Bodog.eu who sign up or continue to play with another Betting Partners brand you will still earn commission

Links and banners pointing to both of these operators should be removed immediately.

All legitimate commission payments for these partner brand sites will continue to be paid in full and this has no affect on our other partner brands in any way.

Bovada = United States
Bodog88 = Asia

All pending/future wagers in the Bodog.co.uk Sportsbook will be honored. Players with active drip bonuses in the Poker Room will be paid out to the level of points they have earned so far and players with active bonuses in the Casino will be able to continue play as this product will remain active.

Players who click thru to a bodog link from the regions that we no longer cater to will be greeted with a message informing them of the changes and that we no longer cater to their jurisdictions for the time being.

Thanks for the clarifications. One further point - what about Bodog.eu casino players who have a bonus that has un-met WR? The email made it sound like the EU casino is shutting down, right?

The current licensees on the Bodog Poker network are Bodog Asia, Bodog.ca and Bovada.LV, the network is constantly looking at adding new licensees. You can find out more information about the Bodog Poker Network here: www.bodognetwork.com

In regards to Bodog.eu players, the best course of action for them is to contact customer service so they can be updated as to what the status of the bonuses on their account are.

Bodog88's own affiliate operations are pretty awful too. No online reporting, poor communication and confusing promotions. They'd really benefit from having BettingPartners getting involved with their program.

Still leaves a hole - there is a big gap.

No Europeans have anywhere to go.

Bodog.ca - Canada
Bovada.lv - US
Bodog88.com - Asian locations of which i have no clue

You then have the continent of Europe/South America/Africa - where do they go.

More importantly European especially UK.

Would of been nice to say allow Bodog88.com to be the default location.

As well as having bodog .eu and co.uk redirect to the proper locaitons and we still created with the affiliate link.

This is only causing affiliates tremendous grief, and then again it will change down the road yet again.

Refocus all you want - but keep your partners in mind and try and make it simple.

Way to much operational changes/new ideas/shifting going on now for some time - keep things steady and structured for a year at least LOL

Some members of this forum, myself excluded, knew from the very beginning that the UK would appear as a market hard to play in.

I liked the sponsorships of WBA and Fulham, at Craven Cottage, though. Hopefully this great brand will not fade out completely eventually.

Yep, the UK license was granted and is still valid (they are valid for 5 years) and bodog.co.uk will be rolling out a new site in a bit but with more of an Asian games focus.
