why our cache for it.qwertycasino .com is showing in Chinese/Blocks?

Hi, Qm.

The reason is that your actual HTML file at it.qwertycasino.com is saved in a UTF-16/UCS-2 character encoding. I have seen this happen before. Most browsers understand this encoding, so it displays fine when you view it normally (the server says, here is a file in UTF-16, and here is the UTF-16 data). However, Google Cache is choking on it because it delivers its pages in UTF-8 ... and blindly dumps your content that it's sucked up, without performing any kind of character conversion or detection. So when the cached copy is viewed, the server is saying, here is a UTF-8 file ... and then proceeds to deliver the regular google header in UTF-8, and then the rest of your page in UTF-16. So the browser thinks it's getting UTF-8 data and mangles your content completely.

The way to fix this, is to re-save your source file in UTF-8, and change

<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-16">

to

<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">

re-upload it, and wait for the next crawl.

Not to throw this thread off but I had to say to Pat.........that was was too damn funny!!

Well Pat, Technically your post was funny but 21locals post was technical and informative, however, as this went over most peoples heads apart from the technically endorsed Rick, then you could technically say that technically your post was the best because although people need technical information and the fact that 21locals technical information was presumably brilliant for those technical people that understood it, technically people prefer fun to work!
