Anyone use Google ad serving (DFP)?

Not sure if this has been discussed before, but has anyone tried using 'DoubleClick For Publishers' from google?

It looks like it could be a really good solution for ad serving - centralized DB of banners to use on all your sites with geo targetting etc... and it's free. For us it would be just utilizing the 'direct ads' feature, and ignoring the other options.

I haven't been able to find anything to say that you can't use it on gambling sites (although obv you couldn't have adsense running through it) so might email them to see if there are any exclusions.

This is in our calender to implement in the next 2 weeks, it seems like a reliable and robust solution for our aff sites. I'll post back here when implemented and let you know how it works.

Do you have any concerns about giving Goog a clear picture of the relationship between your sites, by entering them all into a system such as this?

I tried and didn't much like it. I went back to OpenX. This was about 6-9 months ago, though.

I didn't end up going ahead with it, so cant really comment.

Be interesting to know how Dave got on with it though?
