Why? You should always give a reason when you're being critical.

because barely any sales, too expensive ( you pay even if you dont sell )

not many people interested in domains at flippa

they also dont push any domains to buyers via newsletter ect.

There is also a huge amount of misleading/fraudulent advertisments that Flippa themselves dont seem to care about. Time and time again I've come across sites that are sold only to be copied to a new domain and sold again, with the seller claiming the old revenue proofs are for the new site. I have no trust in the platform.

I hadn't used Flippa for ages until I recently tried to sell a site there. They've simplified their listing fees and the personal support I received was impressive. They do push listings that have value and realistic pricing via their weekly newsletters. They also send notifications about new listings depending on categories you showed interest in.

So I think they've upped their game in recently.

Anybody buying a site online has to do their due diligence before making the purchase. A simple Copyscape search would would highlight any duplicate content that you're referring to.

Buyers and Sellers can verify their details and this improves their visible trust rating. I had to upload my personal ID and also received a phone call from a Flippa representative before my site was listed.

So, I don't think they're as bad as it used to be.
