Auto-subscribing to threads based on keywords

I was thinking about this earlier today, it would be a nice feature if forum members could have a few keywords that they enter in their profile settings, and whenever these words appear in a forum thread or title, the member can automatically be subscribed to the thread.

I think this would be useful for Affiliate Managers as well as webmasters, to get an automatic email notification when their affiliate program or their username or website gets mentioned, so that they can reply quickly.

I don't know if something like that would be possible and I haven't seen it on other forums, but just a suggestion that I think would be useful for a lot of us and help AM's to give quicker support.

In the mean time I would suggest that you can use the search field at the top of the forum, that is what I usually use.
