    Since the title of this thread is "Avoid coinbase at all costs", I wanted to make readers aware of an XRP "issue" that coinbase is experiencing. Apparently a lot of XRP deposits into coinbase accounts are being deemed lost and unrecoverable because the depositors didn't input the correct tag info. https://twitter.com/WietseWind/statu...06632505466880

    Also easy way to transfer out for free from coinbase.. transfer it to gdax ( no tx fees ) then move it out again free of charge

    I love coinbase although always used Poloniex myself for xrp purchases

    only coinbase to gdax has free transactions because its their own exchange
    although you can xfer out of gdax for free

    GDAX doesn't exist anymore. It's now CoinBase Pro.

    The head of Twitter just tweeted about getting a Trezor. He prefers that one because it's all open source but Ledger is not. I think that makes sense, so if I ever got one it would be the Trezor.

    Trezor definitely the way forward
    Available for so many different crypto whereas the Ledger is very limited

    Although theTrezor isnt as nice looking as the Ledger

    Thanks, great tip, did not know that. Would hate a device that could not store different cryptos.
