Argh we didnt even catch up!
    Glad you enjoyed sydney though.

WTF @ Botanical Gardens... Hahahah you poor thing. I wouldn't expect it there. Unless it was the sunday morning after mardi gras maybe :P

Perth is nice, but I found it very "slow" compared to Sydney. You should enjoy it though. December is bloody hot there so take your 50+!

    Welcome Back!

Did you have a good holiday?
The holiday was amazing. I cannot recommend South Africa enough, really. It's my second visit but so much better than the first.

First week we headed up to the Kruger. I went on an 8 hour game drive and only saw a Cheetah right at the end, which I'm told is quite rare so it wasn't a total flop. The place we stayed at, Sabie River Bush Lodge, was also awesome. We were in these little hut things and there was a nice deck next to the river where hippos were playing the whole time we were there. They offer dinner, bed and breakfast.

The second week we went to cape town. I love that place. It reminds me of the town I'm from. It looks exactly the same with the water, the mountain etc. I really, really love cape town. We did the bus tour there which went around the mountain through camps bay etc. It was awesome. We stopped at the botanical gardens and had scones and tea (yum). Great trip.

The third week we went to the midlands (about 2 hours from Durban, in the middle of nowhere) and stayed in treehouses which the owner's wife's great uncle had built with his bare hands: Sycamore Avenue Treehouse B&B

That place was awesome. It was literally in the middle of nowhere. When you turned the lights off it was completely black and you couldn't see another light in sight. We went outside the first night and I looked up into the sky and it took my breath away. I have never seen so many stars in my life. You could even see satellites. This place has dinner, bed and breakfast too and the food here was bloody unbelievable.

Then of course the last week we spent chilling in Joburg.

Such a good holiday. I'm very well rested and of course didn't really want to come back to the office. It was very nice not worrying about anything

    what? You've been away?
You didn't notice my 20 daily updates on facebook became once a week?? Come on!
