    Default Backlinks from affiliate programs

Hi - does anyone have experience of getting backlinks from Affiliate Program websites. I'm sure I've read elsewhere about this, and noticed other affiliates have backlinks listed in Moz from the program sites.

Anyone have any advice / experience in this area?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

These are normally offered in the form of a testimonal on the affiliate program website. Each program will have a requirement for testimonals so I would just ask your AM for more information on how to get one on site.

I wont promote brands when they have competitor links / icons on their casino pages for sure but a lot of aff programs will have testimonial links.

We have had quite some success obtaining these testimonials links. You need to 1) have a decent and presentable website 2) have a good relationship with your AM 3) send them a lot of traffic.

Links from the affiliate (sub) domains are complete worthless imo. Partially those sites comes with 50 or 60 or more outbound links, no own linkpower, thin content and so on. Its an easy-to-get and cheap link - nothing more. In best case Google ignore this kind of "paid" links!

The other part of this game are "Approved Casino" or "Reviewed by Askgamblers" buttons/links from the casino main page. Super powerful, almost zero outbound links, super topic. That are back links i would give the small finger of the right hand (from my neighbor´s hand for sure)!

Links at at RandomAffiliateEarningProgram.com or things like this are completely useless, especially if they're on a page with dozens of links. Links on casino pages are very useful, but I guess that's just for the bigger websites.

I must say I find casino websites looking crappy if they have 15 affiliate seals in the footer.

Try to target and go after links on testimonial pages that are published on the main casino/betting site in a subfolder. Example: casinosite.com/testimonials

Most of the affiliate programs do however have standalone domains with low amount of inbound links.
    Example: casinositeaffiliate.com/testimonials

Still worth it to get a link from there as well but focus on the deals where you can get a testimonial link on the main site.

Yeah I wouldn't refuse it. It are great links. But if I was a casino owner, I wouldn't fill the footer with dozens of casino affiliate seals.

google is very good in detecting affiliate links so i don't think it's worth but you able to get them link to your main website with that affiliate code then that's another thing.

I don't think you understood the question at all godlink...

The question had nothing to do with affiliate links, but links on affiliate program's websites linking to tan affiliate's website.

They are relevant and very close related to your topic flow. So i think they're not so bad if you get for example 5 if your backlink profile is from 100+ referring domains.
