Barbara Windsor to front Jackpotjoy TV ad campaign

Which Bingo reported recently on the big television campaign that Jackpotjoy Bingo are launching on Friday. It has now been revealed that the legend of British comedy that they referred to is non other than Carry On and Eastenders legend Barbara Windsor.


Everyone knows that the Queen Vic in Eastenders is going up in flames on Friday and that the character of Peggy Mitchell will be no more. Less than 15 minutes after the end of this historic episode Barbara Windsor will appear on the nation's television screens on ITV during the commercial break for Coronation Street, fronting the campaign for Jackpotjoy Bingo.


So from Friday, Barbara will quickly be forgotten as the queen of the Vic as she becomes 'Queen of Bingo' at Jackpotjoy in a campaign that is destined to be long running. Online bingo will never be the same again.


Peggy Mitchell has been part of Barbara's life for over 16 years and the 73 year old actress has said of her new venture, "EastEnders marks the end of one of the happiest chapters of my life but I'm really excited about the future - the giggle is back for good. Long live the 'Queen of Bingo'!
