    Angry Betfair WARNING

    Hi,
I want to warn everybody about Betfair.
Its been 4 months since anyone there has answered our emails.
They owe us 1,148 for revenue generated months ago.
We keep getting automated emails requesting an invoice.
We keep sending it, but they will not pay, or reply.

    STAY AWAY!

I think you have been unlucky. They do pay and do respond to emails. Send an email to: Harry.Barber [at] betfair.com

He is a helpful guy and will respond to you.

    Hi there,

I am sorry if this is the case - where is it you're sending your emails?

If you email me, daniel.sanderson[at]betfair.com with your details I'll be happy to resolve this for you.

    Thanks,
    Dan

Work with them, what good is it going to do if you close your account. Then you lose the tagged players.

Betfair put my revenue affiliate to 0 after 2 years of colaboration. They said:"The reason we put your account to 0% was because we told you we no longer wanted traffic. The 0% is only for any new players, you will STILL get paid rev share on players you brought in before the change."
What can I do in this case?

What reason did they give for not wanting traffic from you?

Justbookies, they said that the new players are making accounts only for the freebets. But in the affiliate account the revenue is never negative in the last 6 months.

That's strange because I get emails daily from them telling me to push their free bets and enhanced odds. Hope I am not penalised for doing exactly what they have asked me to do.

That's correct, 98% of all players sent bet the minimum amount to receive the bonus and then stopped.

We are not claiming you're at fault for this betting pattern, which is why you'll continue to receive net rev share on any genuine customers. But of course we don't want a traffic source which constantly sends negative expected value players.

The reason you won't have seen negative revenue is because it wasn't until February that exchange bonus costs were included in Netrefer reports. February onwards, however, you will see there is a massively negative revenue.

    Thanks,
    Dan

This is a very strange reason... what is that even means..

If you get 0 rev-share so how come you still get paid for old players

    I dont get it

It means that the deal was still honored for any players brought in before the decision was made.

And that because we no longer wanted traffic from this source, we would be paying 0% rev share only for players sent after the decision.

    Thanks,
    Dan

I think what they are trying to say is that they dont want any new players, as most of the traffic is just for the free bonus, I had soemthing similar where someone posted a link to no deposits.. lots of signups in 24 hours.. I just changed the offer link, problem solved

I've been in contact with both of those guys before, and mind you we don't do a hell of a lot of business with Betfair yet, and they have always handled our issues courteously and in a reasonable time frame.

Well, Dan Sanderson emailed me and the problem is solved. I was hit hard by bonus hunters. I ask him to not give romanian players freebets because they don t deserve.
It s a 3 years betfair affiliate work ruined by bonus hunters.

Now that's really unfortunate. At least we know the reason for this already.
