We promote several FSB brands in the UK and are seeing something very strange the more we promote.
Each brand we add sees progressively lower conversions (sign up to FTD) than the brand before, as if players are being excluded if they have an account with another FSB brand.
To our latest brand, BetSid, we have sent 56 accounts over the last few weeks but only see 1 FTD. On querying this we have been told that all 55 of those players were previously self-excluded from another FSB brand.
I have asked whether these players are genuine self-exclusions, due to responsible gambling related issues, or whether they are exclusions due to bonus abuse or similar. They say they players self-excluding themselves for safe gambling reasons.
This is frankly unbelievable, even if somehow, we were targeted by SE players, we promote BetSid on various unconnected sites in numerous places, so it would be hard to believe every account coming through us would fit this profile. We would also still be sending some good accounts at least even if this were true. This is also the only site out of over 50 the we list that this is happening for.
We also see this with other FSB brands, although less pronounced, and it seems to be a linear effect, more self-exclusions the later they were added to our sites. It seems to me that we are possibly being blocked from being credited with players if they have an account with another FSB brand? Again even in this case I cannot see 55/56 players fitting this profile - although they state this is not the case.
We will be removing BetSid and redirecting our traffic as this is ridiculous but I wanted to see if anyone else had a similar experience with BetSid or FSB brands?
