If you have 200 active players every day, 98K is not impossible to recover. And usually players will lose their profits on long term. It's really strange that they don't give you any detailed information (considering you are such a big affiliate). I have a lot less players than you and everytime I ask about numbers, they tell me everything I ask. Are you a new affiliate? Who is your AM?

I have always found Bet365 very helpful with answering queries on strange looking stats. I have never been palmed off by them. They have always looked into the oddity and given a solid reason and explanation of what has caused it. So I hope and believe that you will get the answers to satisfy yourself.

I agree with a previous poster - if your player(s) is allowed to keep playing then he will most likely give it all back. However maybe B365 can help out in this situation because a big ongoing negative over a number of months will ultimately prevent you from promoting them. I hope you can reach a satisfactory resolution.

I haven`t received yet any answer from bet365. I sent an email to James Hardwick from this forum but he didn`t answered yet. Maybe because it`s weekend. I don`t know if that player will give it all back because every day he is winning, for example in a day I was only +37 eur with more than 260 active players, so other players are loosing and he`s taking my profit. This month only 3 days I was with + (small amount), the other days with a big negative balance.
@casasdeapostas.info - i`m not a new affiliate, i`m with bet365 since oct. 2009 and I`m not really sure who is my AM. I used to talk with a guy from my country (Romania) and he`s from YM Glory LTd. But he didn`t gave me to much info. A few days ago I received an email from Ruth Oleksik telling that he`s my new AM. So I`m confused who`s my AM.
Right now there is -103.000 eur, so I think it`s impossible to recover. I was thinking to make another affiliate username in my wife`s name to start all over again and maybe keep the old user on other site, maybe in a year I will recover. But I need your advice, I think I will break bet365 rules regarding two or more affiliates account.

Hi, as a lot of you have highlighted negative carry overs are a little scary, for this reason I have always stayed clear of any affiliate scheme that has negative carry overs. I guess in one way I am limiting my chances of making money, but I would rather just play safe. The only way to avoid them is to only participate in schemes with no negative carry overs. I guess I just don't earn enough to take the risk? Is this a stance others take?

I have always personally felt that a quota in order to get paid is a much bigger risk than a negative carry over.

If a player wins, they can play off the winnings and you will come out of the negative.

If there is a quota, you don't get paid until you get more players....

    Hi,

I am polish so sorry for my english, but I have got big problem with negative carryover. I have seen very strange thing on my account last months.
During 4 years I was only once negative - in the begininng. Until now was great. There were months when I have been earning 6k euro. Always my stats was good. Total commission was around 20 to even 40% of deposits.
But... it started in February. I saw very strange stats. Every day I had around 400-500 bets (30-40 bettors) and only 400-1000 euro turnover. Commission started to be very small, around 50-200 euro daily. Affiliate manager suggested that probably some new "small" players started to bet. OK I said and let it be. But in March everything change dramaticaly. I began have turnovers around 50-100k daily!!! Number of bets even reduced, number of active players was the same (about 30-40 every day) and what is the most wondering, deposits grow up incredibly. Finally in the end of March were 38k euro deposits but first time from the beginnig I found myself with negative carryover around -4,5k euro.
I thought that some punter could be lucky. Maybe some "big" player have registered from my website. It happens. But April is horrific! From the beggining of April till today I have 41k euro (deposits), 250k (turnover) and almost -15k negative carryover (summary almost 20k). I do not know what to do. My cooperation with Bet365 always was great but I am afraid that these bad days never stop. Last ten days only one was +3,7k. Rest is always negative. These are large numbers and I do not know why accumulated just now.
Maybe is one or two "big" punters whom are winning but I know that Bet365 usually limit them quickly. Anyway I still cannot imagine how one day I have 500 euro turnover and the second day almost 100k !!!!!!! Have you had some strange stats?
I add that like all of you I cannot get from Bet365 detailed stats of my players, so I cannot imagine how they gamble, etc.
So what to do? Should I wait or what? Maybe you have some advice?

Your English is very good. I have promoted B365 for years and I trust them implicitly. It is possible to have huge swings from just one or two players. It is good that you have 30-40 players active a day and that is commendable. However one big player can make the other 29 totally insignificant. The stats you talk about are not suspicious. I think you are unlucky that one player is on a winning run. Rather than hoping B365 limit him/her, it would be better they keep playing because that winning run never lasts. That is something some operators forget. Personally I don't want my winning players limited, but given free rein to give themselves a chance to give it all back. Anyway, the reason for this post is simple to say that after years of dealings with Bet365 I do trust them and their stats. You would not be posting if this player (or two) had been losing these amounts rather than winning them. And they will be losing it all if they are given the opportunity. Play the long game - and that is also the message to those scared operators who are too quick to limit players.

    @justbookies

Thank for reply but it is easy to say... But can you imagine that from 16th of March till 16th of April I am 29k euro negative carryover??? I say that because beginning of the March was prety nice. First two weeks I collected net revenue 7k, but from this 16th began crazy players winning run with very big numbers and it still going this way. I can understand 3-4 days, maybe week or two, but whole month???
I read previous posts and I saw similar problems but how would you explain those huge deposits? It is rather obvious that if punter win so do not deposit more money next day. I have still the same situation. For example net revenue is -4k but deposit is 7k next day. And again net revenue - 3,5k and deposit 9k, and later -1,5k and deposit 4k. And again and again. I cannot understand it...
I am still waiting for the answer of my polish affiliate manager but he is... how to say... not really serious. Maybe some of you could give me a phone number or mail to other affiliate menager like Sarah McArdle, Nigel Ridgway or Zuzana Pichlova. They helped me year ago, when some error with stats occured (first days of March 2012). But I cannot talk with them now, because all my messages going through that polish affiliate manager.

    Thanks

Easy to say... I am almost 20k negative carryover now and I cannot see this horrible winning run ending. Every day is around 2-3k negative. What is the most interesting deposits are around 3-9k everyday. And I do cannot understand it!
My polish affiliate manager cannot help me enaugh, but my all messages goes throuh him anyway. And that is the worst because I cannot contact straight with some Affiliate System Administrator like for example Sarah McArdle or Zuzana Pichlova. Could you guys help me contact with them or any responsible person for this kind of problems (phone number or email).

    Thanks

I have almost the identical situation currently with another firm. The swings each day are huge and it is all down to one player (I can see that on this particular firm's netrefer stats). The player is winning big on the sportsbook overall, but is having some major losing days too. He has made the activity of everyone else irrelevant, just for the time being. I am encouraged to see the firm are accommodating his big bets and I am happy with the situation. However the key thing here is that the firm my player is at does not carry over negatives. I can see that you feel trapped by that rule and I sympathise completely. Also you are looking for some clarity, to have B365 explain exactly why the stats are showing as they are. We can only assume it is one big player on a winning streak, but B365 could confirm this to you either way. They are a very good firm and monitor these posts, so hopefully they can give you a bit of clarity.

That is problem of all affiliate partners from time to time, but yesterday finally come good day. +10k is good omen for the future I think. Hopefully this one or two "big" punters starting to loose all they won last month. A am still 8.8k negative balance but my mud is much better. Anyway, I am still waiting for some news and detailed stats from Bet365 and still don't have any answer. That is the most irritating and annoying thing in all the case.

    Hi,

Finally I must admit that Bet365 did well. It took time but my affiliate manager explained me everything and gave whole knowledge about my "big" punters.
I would like to thank soccerpunter as well. Your advice was truly great to not panic and give my players chance to give all money back. They made almost 20k negative carryover during a month but gave all back during last two days (twice around +10k). I really thought about asking Bet365 to limit them or sth but finally decided to wait. Good advice - thanks soccerpunter!
To all - now I am sure that Bet365 is totally honest, but sometimes you must be patient with your stats and affiliate managers.
