Default "Black Friday" payment processor pleads guilty

Is it just Buzzy, or has there not been much good news in the online gambling world the past couple of months? That string of bad news continued today as Chicago native Bradley Franzen admitted in a New York courtroom that he helped process payments for online gambling companies.

Franzen was one of 11 people charged in the April 15 "Black Friday" indictments.

    From Business Week:

Franzen said he was contacted in 2009 at his Costa Rica home by an Internet poker company owner who wanted to process checks online. He said he agreed to link online poker companies with banks even though he knew it was illegal.

Nope, it's not just you buzzy. It seems to me that the US is just now getting around to inforcing UIGEA and they are serious about it!

Any igaming site that cater to the US player is at risk and I can't help but wonder if affiliates will soon be targeted being that we feed the player to the igaming site.

Today I purchased gamtrak.co.uk with a UK IP just to begin the transition and cover my butt because I'm not about to risk my freedom or income over this industry. lol

The US is setting the scene to take over the US market and don't care how it occurs just as long as it does. IMO this is the beginning of the end of the igaming we once knew, as it relates to being an affiliate, and I hope there is a spot for us when it all plays out.
