    You mean spam on forum?

1.) This is not Chinese, this is Korean.
2.) We have several webmasters from Asian region here, on GPWA forum.

3.) I think 99% this is new Xrumer version. New Xrumer version pass Google captcha tests without any problem. i wrote here, on GPWA, that the best solution from my point of view - is setup Question/Answer test for new member registration. This is very easy on Vbulletin forum. I don't know, why GPWA don't do this.

I see little difference (besides the technique they are using) between the korean spam and the folks that come here and create accounts to either copy and paste an article and the people who create accounts just to make enough posts in number (that say nothing substantial at all) so that they can drop links in the footer.

That being said, Rick stated he is working on a solution - though it is not as easy as one would think from what I can tell.

It has been stated MANY times it is NOT a registration issue, slowing down the registration alone is NOT the problem, as often the posting is taking place sometimes days after the registration.

Also, it is correct they are most often not using Chinese subnets, and we have also heard of other well known forums dealing with similar situations.

I will now lock this thread as there is a thread already discussing this issue.

Thank you for all those that understand we are working on it and actually Anthony had another lengthy conversation about it last night...(although he won't let me call him at 4 and 5 AM - I wonder why)

Side note: On your other point shay, we try to allow a little more freedom with posting then what some might prefer, and admittedly maybe at times we should be a little more strict, but there have also been many many cases where someone started posting with a style a little less preferred and then later went on to be much more active and contributing members of the community.

Any time you or others think we should have moderated someone more aggressively you are welcome to contact me with the usernames, and an example or two...we may not always agree with you but promise to at least consider your side of the story. (CC Anthony if you like, although he is likely the only one that gets more PM's then me)
