Well it’s that time again, to get out of the work close (usually pants) and shrug on a respectable suit and talk to people face to face that I usually only ever hear from via email/phone. It’s a great opportunity to cement relationships and get greater insight into how other parties work.

This year as a cost saving exercise we’re going to drive down. Not ideal, but until the site gets a little bigger we really need to minimise expenditure. So after what will doubtlessly be a very tiring drive down, we’ll hit the hotel, freshen up a bit and head over to the Grange St Paul’s for pre-registration. I never did this last year and it made for a frantic rush when it came to make that first appointment on Friday. Won’t make that mistake again!!

This year we’re attending the iGB Awards as guests of InterCasino and are up for the Best Casino Affiliate award. It seems rather unlikely we’ll win, being such a young site and up against such strong competition, but it’s great to be nominated and we’re very grateful to the folks at [URL="http://thepogg.com/casino-review/intercasino/"]InterPartners[/URL] for hosting the evening for us.

Over the weekend I’m really looking forward to meeting many of the programs we work with, but especially [URL="http://thepogg.com/casino-review/gala/"]Gala[/URL], who came out top of our ‘Class of 2012’ awards. It’s great to see a brand with a established strong reputation making renewed efforts to focus on their online casino. This can only be a good thing for player and affiliates alike.
