Jane's Comment On The Gambling Industry

Now I am not one to revel in other people's misfortune, but I did break into a grin this morning upon reading the news that Sky Bet had been fined by the UKGC for failing to protect vulnerable customers. The story on BBC news is [URL="http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-43566166"]here[/URL].

Of course, we know they can easily afford the £1 million fine since they have stolen a great deal more than that from webmasters and affiliates over the last 6 months, and will continue to do so (unless those taking legal action are successful). But it's just a little note to them that actions have consequences, and no matter how big a company you are, you cannot get away with shitting on the little guy, be it your customers or your suppliers.

I do hope that the civil courts follow suit and make them pay for their dishonesty.
