Bookies & Their Data Feeds

I have launched a new new odds comparison website and I'm having a total nightmare with certain bookies and getting access to their sports XML feeds.

So far I've been able to integrate a number of bookie's feeds into my website without trouble but there are a few bookies who despite allowing me to join their affiliate program won't allow me access to the feeds.

Here are 3 so far I've had problems with:

Bet365 - Want at least XXX new players per month before they can forward my request to their CEO who apparently personally approves all requests for access to their feed.

Bwin - Just joined and they have said feed access is granted based on traffic/signups generated.

Betfair - Their sportsbook feed is apparently at capacity at the moment (find that hard to believe), they want me to contact in a few weeks to ask again then.

Due to the nature of my website bookies won't get new players unless I use their feeds! Hats off to William Hill and Ladbrokes though who granted me access straight away and have been a pleasure to deal with. I'm sending them traffic already and have no problems

No wonder oddschecker.com is completely dominating the odds comparison market if bookies continue to put roadblocks in front of those who are trying/willing to compete.

So, my question:

Are there any UK bookies who will give me access to their XML feeds without a load of hassle?

Hi mate, Coral were fine with me, although I currently lack the skills to be able to use it effectively. AJAX, PHP, Javascript, HTML & CSS is a lot to learn for someone with a very very basic knowledge of Java. If you have any tips for me let me know!

Thats interesting. I have never heard that bookmakers require a certain number of players before they offer access to their feed. I don't use befair or bwin but 365 and never heard of such an requirement. Maybe they made some internal changes. Your website is already live?

I can not understand this because as you said they would only profit when you integrate them. They would get players especially when you provide an odd service. I would try to contact another affiliate manager of 365. Who is your affiliate manager? Try to contact Oliver you can find his contact details here on gpwa.

That's true for bet365 - Apparently,I am close to being allowed access to some of their promotional features, including XML feeds.

Just got approved by bet-at-home. Seems access to live odds / XML feed is also not granted by default (unless I'm missing something). Have mailed a request to Stephan and also logged a request via Affiliate Message Centre.

Will advise of outcome.

What about scraping the odds directly from the site and refreshing them constantly! Would be there any problem from the bookies side?
